Drag the map towards the UK and you will see... it shows the UK stock

I must have zoomed out too much. When I checked earlier, I could've sworn there was none on the UK. I presumed it was US only from the 'ZIP' option at the top right.

I have always bought in store with the exception of the watch last year. Naive question here but f you order online and delivered to your home, can you still exchange or get refunds at a retail store?

In two minds about keeping my Black 32GB iPhone 7 +, having had the Gold iPhone 6 and 6S Plus, I was going to go with Gold again this year, but ordered the Black instead. I won't make a decision until the phone arrives, but what would I be best doing if I want a Gold one instead, going into my local Apple Store and exchanging it? Sending it back to Apple Online? Or selling it on the likes of eBay, Gumtree etc.?

You can't exchange it in store as online stock is seperate to the store stock so you'll need to return the phone via an online return first so that marks that option out. Probably best to order another now and sort the return now

That's weird. I had a totally different experience with the logic board replacement program, at my local store. They replaced the logic board with a brand new one, because they happened to have one in stock. I mentioned I had the screen ghosting issue and he said he'd replace my clamshell under the same program, for free. Over £700 of out of warranty repairs free. He said it might take a couple days but called me the same evening saying it was ready to pick up whenever I was.

So it definitely seems to be a case of 'good' and 'bad' Genius Bars and it's a lottery which you get at your local. My local, Highcross, is an excellent Apple Store and the staff in there are great, on the whole.

Thanks for feedback. I went to the White City store for my repair. They told me that I had to have a refurbished logic board as that was all they were allowed to do. I enquired about paying more for a logic board with more RAM but they said it wasn't possible. I'm booked in for White City to look at it again but perhaps I'll try a different store instead.

I bought my gold plus online and returned in store today, all they needed was an order number. I had the money put onto a gift card and now just waiting for matte black plus stock too arrive so I can reserve.

To clarify, as of October 2015 you can return online orders in-store. This policy came into effect at the same time in-store pickup launched in the UK.

It sounds like the US got a huge delivery of 7 Plus units this morning, everyone over on Reddit are saying they finally got reservations for 7 Plus units today. It doesn't make any sense why the US got loads and the UK seemingly got nothing. Maybe we're getting one tomorrow.

Just came back from the Apple store in White City Westfield, and played around with the jet black phone. Firstly, I love the home button. I was skeptical about it, but I can definitely warm to it. Secondly, I am so glad i didn't go for the JB. Nothing but minor scuffs, ridiculous amounts of prints that just couldn't be wiped without a cloth, and one or two major scratches. I don't care if they are demo units, it has been there for two days only and the types of scuffs on the phone were clearly from just putting it on the table and picking it back up. Whoever decides to sell their JB phones one, two, three years down the line will not get a grade A evaluation.

What happens if I put mine in a case and use s glass screen protector from day 1? (Like I do with every iPhone )

And come 2017 and I'm ready to buy iPhone 8, why shouldn't my JB be pristine?

I ordered at 8.20 because i was trying to do a reserve in store for both and when that failed i did an online order for my phone and then a separate order for the watch. Still in processing at the moment but i am hoping for a status change by friday.

When I pre-ordered my watch I wanted to choose pick up in store but at check out even though that option was there you couldn't actually choose it and I had to settle for delivery which ideally I didn't want. Luckily I had already pre-ordered my phone which went through fine for in store pick up. Immediately after I went bach on to the Apple Store App and pre-ordered the watch. Both had already been added by me to my favourites the day before making it easier.

The case itself may well scratch the phone unless it has some kind of soft lining inside.
