nite all, catch you on the morrow to resume checking order status; it's exhausting must admit
I will definitely be asking them to send it back if they reduce it by that much!!
First world problems! See ya in the morningnite all, catch you on the morrow to resume checking order status; it's exhausting must admit
Ordered the 7+ jet black version 256GB off the carphone warehouse website last night. Originally was going to wait until O2 had stock and purchase directly from their store but was informed on Friday that they don't have a clue when they're supposed to be getting 7+ stock. Was unable to pre-order but got an expected delivery date for the 7th of October? I've only received an email stating the order acknowledgement, no money has been deducted from my account yet. Anyone else due to receive theirs by this date?
Im planning on doing a fresh install but just want to restore my contacts, how do i go about that anyone?
That may come forward as I think that there will be loads of phones coming over from China to the uk over the next 10 days.Hi, I was told i would have my 128GB Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus by the 7th of October.
It's 20 months and it's a pretty good deal:Off topic but my mate is going for the upgrade program but as i told him, Apple are being really clever with the upgrade program. On paper it sounds good but Apple are roping people in and making it very difficult for them to leave Apple. People are tied in for 23 months and putting aside the 11 month upgrade scheme, if someone wants to leave Apple and go to Samsung, they will still have to pay off the remainder of their 23 month contract that may cost hundreds of pounds before migrating to another manufacturer. either that or they will be paying for a new phone and the remaining contract on their old phone. Apple will totally own them lol

7 plus 128gb black Preparing for Shipment due 20-22nd, what are the chances that it is actually 20 and not 22?![]()
It's 20 months and it's a pretty good deal:
So even if you never upgrade you're actually saving £70 compared to buying the phone and AppleCare+ upfront and you get to pay in instalments.
- £49 up front
- 20 equal monthly payments equal to the RRP of the phone
- AppleCare+ included
EDIT: I made a mistake here. The 20 payments actually add up to more than the RRP of the phone. So it's effectively an interest free loan which is still a very good deal.
ThanksSo I simply start fresh. Go to iclouds and download contacts? Sorry, i've not restored anything since i got my iphone 6 2 years ago...
Sounds good. It's all quite complicated. My 6s Plus was £789, just sold it for £455. 7 Plus is £819, so the upgrade cost was £364. Trying to work out how that compares to the Upgrade Programme.I was going to do this but once in store I opted for the iPhone Payments Plan instead (though was getting some very gentle 'persuasion' from the Apple Store guy to do the upgrade programme. iPP Essentially the same in terms of spreading cost interest free but no AppleCare (so cheaper) and no ability to swap next year. However I wanted the option to sell the phone myself next year and pay off the loan earlier when inmy case there will only be 8x£43.50(£348) remaining. Am guessing my 256gb 7+ will be worth at least £100 more than that in 12 months time.
Those of us in the 20-22nd crew will probably see our phones dispatched tomorrow for Tuesday delivery.

The complication is that every year you extend your agreement, essentially renewing a 20 month programme every year. So if you always upgraded you're always deferring 9 months of payments indefinitely.
That would be my dream come true right now. Means I'll have the phone on Tuesday and not when I get back from a super long work trip.
Is it likely do you think?
Yes this is a good point. What kind of put me off the upgrade programme was that only 2 options - swap phone or keep. If you don't have the phone to give back there was no option to pay a pre agreed figure instead - though I suppose I could have paid the remaining 8 payments. With EE's 25 and 40gb Max plans you pay £310 to upgrade after one year if you no longer have the 7-+ phone to swap (less for a non plus model) I actually have a 128gb JB+ on order as an upgrade and it was a good deal as they were not charging an upfront cost and £65.99 per month (currently paying around £20-25 per on a sim only deal). However now being quoted 28 days for delivery which mans a the new contract won't start til October and next year I won't be able to upgrade til the October either.
Cool. When did u order?Hi, I was told i would have my 128GB Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus by the 7th of October.
