Yes although I was luckier than many here in that I did manage to get a gold 7+ 256gb via an store reservation on launch day. Wasn' t sure I was going to collect or keep as wanted Jet Black but it is a nice phone and almost all my Apple (and Beats) stuff is gold so (and given the EE delays) I think I'll be keeping.

It's 20 months and it's a pretty good deal:
  • £49 up front
  • 20 equal monthly payments equal to the RRP of the phone
  • AppleCare+ included
So even if you never upgrade you're actually saving £70 compared to buying the phone and AppleCare+ upfront and you get to pay in instalments.

EDIT: I made a mistake here. The 20 payments actually add up to more than the RRP of the phone. So it's effectively an interest free loan which is still a very good deal.

To be clear the £49 and the 20 equal monthly payments add up to the RRP of the phone plus the RRP of AppleCare+. If you'd buy AppleCare+ it's a no-brainer, even if you wouldn't then 0% credit card if you have one is better but Upgrade Programme is still a good hassle free option

Yup. Mine too. Nothing showing as pending on my Barclaycard either.
Hope Apple don't end up failing us. The case I ordered on the same day has already delivered so I know it won't be a card detail issue at least. Hopefully they start to move tomorrow or by tomorrow night and may even already be in the UK

I hope so, I'm still in processing too because of the apple pay balls up. Delivery date is still 20-22 though.
I'm guessing the finance monkeys were not working over the weekend because they don't realise how important this is to us. How much effort we put into tracking these things and refreshing the order page about 200 million times a day.

Frustrating that payment doesn't immediately go through after updating payment details after the apple pay failure. I updated my details over the phone on Friday afternoon and no attempt to take payment has been made yet. Hopefully things get rolling tomorrow at some point.

The only immediate thing they do is the 1 quid authorisation the payment I think it taken at another time.

That would be my dream come true right now. Means I'll have the phone on Tuesday and not when I get back from a super long work trip.
Is it likely do you think?
Very likely, they could ship really late though and still make it by the next day. So I expect a few people to see PFD in the afternoon then in the evening they will be shipped for delivery next day. But that is just a guess ;)

All the people that have an order date, but are getting twitchy over not seeing any movement. Stop getting twitchy. Apple tend to deceived on the date given, if not sooner. It's the same every year.

FYI Belfast, Victoria Square is the only Apple Store in the UK with iPhone 7/7 Plus stock right now. That's so dumb for two days after launch. Where are their shipments???! Unless there'll be huge shipments tomorrow morning...one can only hope!

Fingers crossed the UK got plus stock today ready for the mad dash tomorrow.

There tends to not be any major new stock delivery for the U.K. over launch weekend. In previous years, it's been the launch day, weekend of nothing much new. Then Monday night is when a fresh batch arrives. Then every day/ couple days there after until a more steady flow is established. So Tuesday morning reservations are going to be the big one. Potentially. Tho I doubt any JB pluses will be appearing anytime soon.

I thought it used to be 8am? Is 6am new?

I was sure it was midnight for the reservations until this launch. 8am was preordering.

Are Apple Stores likely to receive deliveries tonight? If not, whats the point of the reservation page over a weekend?

The point is for any reservations not picked up to be bought.

When people are checking stock at 6am are you using the app or does it have to be the web page?

The app redirects to website.

Where This Info From?
my brain. No one actually will know.

Probably too busy playing with their own shiny new iPhones even .... ;)

Not that it's stopped Apple in the past, but I believe there are legal implications to actually taking the cash (rather than just making an authorisation) at the time of purchase unless the goods are physically in the suppliers hands at the time the order is placed.
