Seems the availability.json stock is fairly reliable, more so than we originally thought. My phone went crazy with beeps from my push notification script saying that my wanted model was in at one of chosen stores.

The only difference in the link is the AppleCare=Y, it's still the same reservation system. I've had both links running and show same details.

Its just a python script that checks the json file every minute, same way as razord/istocknow works, if it finds model you wanted from a store you chose, it'll send pushbullet notifications until out of stock every minute.
