It seems that your timing has to be incredibly lucky to be able to reserve when stock pops up.

Do you think the stores have any stock for walk in customers?
 
Bah, UKMail. Told them they could deliver to neighbour, who I trust and have informed and is definitely in today....just posted a card through, sigh.

I'll have to rearrange for Thursday now. I hope they actually DO try Thursday, rather than try (and fail) tomorrow, then give up.

Nope. Asked at the stratford store earlier and they said you just had to keep on eye on the site.
Worst iphone launch experience i've ever had.

So Apple likes to drip feed stock tostores to keep the customers coming in, and online customers have to wait in a queue with silly dates for their orders.

I keep getting asked for my registration code everytime i try and reserve and i dont get a registration code via text. this is the third phone ive missed today.

is the script if anyone wants to run it themselves. It uses same method as RazorD so may not be 1000% accurate but worked great for me today and got me reservation i was after. maybe will help some others, furby/frazzle pm me pushbullet access token / models / stores and ill run a copy for u guys if u dont wanna run it urself.

Why? It's the same every year for each of the devices. Store stock and online is different. Why should one get hindered due to the other. Some people can't/don't want to get one from a store, same goes for online. There's probably a 50/50 split between online and store stock supplies, but Online just allows people to constantly order.

If you got your way, no store would have stock until Christmas....

I actually just tested this and got same thing, where you text a code to 81088 and then get a code back.

What a faff that is lol

My driver is being horrendously slow. Only on 28 our of 64 and he's got about 2 hours before delivering. I hope he doesn't delay it until tomorrow.

That's what I was getting on one of the links and only if on wifi at work. But not on the other link.

If switched to tethering they both worked. Very strange. It changed half way through confirming reservation so has to switch to tethering!
