Going to collect my 7 plus in a little while. I'm planning on paying in cash but was thinking I may use the IUP but want to know how tough is the credit to actually get? I tried to get an IPad earlier in the year on credit with Apple but got turned down. Is the IUP just as likely to be rejected does anyone think?

Please let me know how CPW process for selling goes and report back to me later.

I want to do same, Apple have repaired my 6S+ and shows as reposted back so hopefully will reach the store tomorrow and i can sell it when i pick it up
It was easy.

I showed them the phone and they put £390 on my debit card.

Difficult to say, credit scores seem completely ambiguous at the best of times. I'd just try the IUP and if it doesn't go through then pay in full with cash. :)

Hopefully we see more reservation stock available in the morning with everyone getting their shipments today!

Gonna check around family and friends first but may have a 32gb Black plus available tomorrow if anyone is interested.

RRP (so long as you promise to cancel your own order / do the same for someone else)

Edit: I'm in Bedford

That's the model I want but I want it on IUP unfortunately aha. I'm sure someone will snap it off you if there's still no new 7 Plus stock tomorrow morning.

I just got £350 for my iPhone 6. If I factor that cost in, I'm paying £19 a month if I keep my phone for two years.
It would be £38 a month on the upgrade program.

Your maths is faulty because you've based it on two years, in that case you should also include the resale value on the iUP as you would own the phone after twenty months. Obviously most people would upgrade after a year but you can't compare the cost of buying outright once every two years against doing IUP every 12 months as you aren't comparing like for like then.

It's £4.96 a month more expensive for the upgrade programme compared to buying outright over two years in a proper like for like comparison as the only difference in cost is the mandatory Applecare+

Quick bit of help please... I'm setting my 7+ up with an encripted back up of my 6s.... what do I have to do with my Apple Watch again? unpair it from the 6s and re-pair it with the 7 (in order to carry over the health data)?

My brother just told me his 7 Plus Black 128GB just got delivered. It seems there was a huge delivery of stock last night/this morning. I'm hopeful for iReserve tomorrow morning, but I've been let down many mornings thus far! But it would work out perfectly as I've got a Genius Bar appointment at 12PM tomorrow.

Just a quick side note while my 7+ is restoring-out of the myriad of cases I have, the Spigen Rugged Armour is by far my favourite case (maybe ever!).

[Edit] - Definitely the phone and case that Batman would have. ;)

Damn! Almost got myself a 7 Plus. Checked my local Apple store (been doing it all day) and nearly had a heart attack when I saw a 128GB Black 7 Plus available. Clicked on it, selected the pick up time and then my 5S froze!!! I couldn't move forward and when I did it was unavailable again!!!!!!

No thought for all the people who ordered online I notice.

You weren't forced to order online. You could reserve and pick one up and cancel your order. You're acting like online orders should get preferential treatment, which is ironic given the nature of your issue.

You'll probably find that there's the same amount going into stock for store as there are for online ordering each day, but because ordering online is an open free for all, you are blind to that. If online ordering was restricted to only what was available each day, you'd notice. Or if reservations were open like online orders, we would see the same dates for pickup as you.

For people who have had a 6 in a case what would you recommend? My OH will use my 6 now and he's Mr Butterfingers so needs something robust, he's used an Otterbox Defender on his 5 but I didn't know if that would work with the 6 having Touch ID?

Got my new plus matte black from white city London. They had 5 available there. Very weird that they are making them available by the hour or even more.

Anyway big thanks to @l3uddz for writing the script, after running it for a couple of hours, I got a notification that there were +128 blacks in white city! Maybe a few other people used the code and bought them at the same time.

Good luck for the rest of the people, I'll try and help out some of you tomorrow setting up the script if you want!

I've got to head London for lunch with a friend tomorrow, so I'm trying my luck with London as I could have easily done 2 reservations today when I was noseying around. Knowing my luck, Reading will have stock and I won't be able to do both, well possibly.

I’d disagree, I worked it out for the phone I got as

Apple upgrade program for 128Gb 4.7” is £38.45p/m x 11 = £422.95 + £49 upfront = £471.95 (cost of phone + AC for a year)

Buy outright for £699+Apple care £119 = £818. In 12 months it should be worth at least £400-£450 so cost of phone + AC for a year = £368 -£418

So by my maths that leaves me £103.95-£53.95 better off. Unless I’ve missed something?

anyone get anything today or any new news?

People got deliveries, some got notifications for delivery tomorrow, some got plus in Matte black reservations they picked up today and even paid upfront instead of iUP despite reserving under iUP! Also someone ruined the fun by being pissy about coding. It's all been going off.
