Not much worse than the screen can get if not wiped regularly. As a make up wearing lass I often need to wipe my screen after a call (which sounds disgusting now I type it but it does even though I wear quite light foundation.)

IUP is a bit more expensive but more convenient, depends what you value more.

I was going to iUP but as could only get a 256gb on reservation I opted for the iPP without the Apple Care and lower monthly payments (got insurance through my bank so only potential benefit was the £25 screen replacement). I figure that in September 2017 I'll have around 8 payments left totalling £348 and I would hope that a 7+ 256gb is worth at least £100 more than that on trade in (if in the likely case I decide to upgrade to the 8). Or maybe it will be 9 payments and my plan is not so good !!!!

Can someone be kind enough to give me a crash course in this script? I've already got the code saved as a .py file.

Edit the script to the store you need and the model you need, download Python 2.7 and run it.

EDIT: Actually, since you are in Belfast just PM me the model you need and your Pushbullet key, I have the script running on my secondary machine.

It's a website and iOS app. If you know about python, you'll be ok but if you have no idea, don't.

Just a label. Also that doesn't show reservation stock, just order of pickup in store stock.

My 7+ 256gb in jet Black has an estimated receipt originally of 27th, that then became 26th, then this morning it moved to 23rd......and then about 5 minutes ago it was DELIVERED!

I now don't know whether to open it - or take it back to the store and try to get a Matt Black one - as all these horror stories about the JB are worrying me - albeit i have never seen either in person??

Can you take it back if you open it and don't like it??

Collecting mine from the UKMail depot in Trafford Park later. I rang them to make absolutely sure they'd keep it at the depot for me to collect after yesterdays failed delivery - they completely ignored my instruction to leave with neighbour (they were in), so I don't trust there online system without further checks.

You're paying top top dollar for the iphone via the upgrade programme and apple care. You have a guarantee that apple will take it back from you in 1 years time - get the colour you really want.. its only for 11.5 months. Use it, abuse it and enjoy it

Great stuff, just need to either wait for my order to be shipped and return so I can sign up to IUP or see if any elusive JB's appear. Although the IUP is an expensive option, it's certainly more convenient and allows me to enjoy the phone without a case and without fear of it's resale value - thats certainly appealing for me. When I took my 6S in for a replacement under warranty the Genius could see I was cautious over how i cared for the phone. He said it's good to look after your phone BUT don't you wish you could just use the phone and handle it as the designers intended without a case?

I think they will refund to a gift card and then "buy" the new one off the gift card. If I recall, the new receipt says the new phone was purchased via a gift card which may make a refund awkward in the future. May have changed since I did it tho

You need to run it from a computer, have python installed, install pushbullet and know what you're doing.

is the script if anyone wants to run it themselves. It uses same method as RazorD so may not be 1000% accurate but worked great for me today and got me reservation i was after.
