Well I'm here at Manchester. Early. Got told I can join the line but then another guy came and said if your reservation is for later come back then

Did you tell them straight away you were early?
I never got asked what time my reservation was. I just went up and said I'm here to pick up a reservation and picked mine up 2 hours (ish) early

Getting a 400 Bad request on the script today. Unchanged from working yesterday :(

Maybe my fault then. I straight away told them I was mega early Oh well an hour to kill in Manchester.

Managed to pick my iPhone 7 up yesterday after a 400 mile round trip train journey and a week of 6am bum fights on the internet to order one.

I've upgraded from a 6S+ to 7+ and I have to say apart from the home button I have noticed practically no difference whatsoever between the 2 phones. So little is the difference in fact, if somebody swapped my phone during the night (it's cased) I probably wouldn't notice it's been swapped (apart from the home button).

Is it a complaint? No, just an observation. I did my research prior to purchasing.

I'm in the lucky position of being able to upgrade every year. If however your finances are tight and you are in a dilemma about upgrading from a 6+ to 7+ I'd be thinking long and hard whether it's worth it.

Good old Apple marketing team hey!

I think I have just made a stupid mistake! I reserved a 32GB 7+ black but I want 128GB. Not sure whether to just cancel it and wait for the model I want, or go and collect it and then just return it once they have the 128GB in stock?

Argh!

You have to reserve online but it doesn't have to be just at 6am. I checked (like mad!) yesterday morning. Nothing. Then at around midday was able to reserve and pickup! Went down and set up the iUP there and then. Made up. Ended up with the 256GB Plus and AppleCare plus for £49 a month instead of a whopping £1000+ on my credit card (plus interest!).

which link did you use for this? ive been using https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/GB/en...33ABBE66697D1186&rv=0&path=&iPP=E&appleCare=Y

and there are never any plus!

Cancel because your card will have been charged

Morning all, hope for those still waiting on arrivals and checking stock, today will be the day.

Just wanted to share some feedback from my 7+. It's by far the most responsive and fastest iphone I've ever used. The thing is like Lightening!!!!! It's just so responsive and super fast. I'm coming from a 6s+ so wasn't expecting much improvements but I'm blown away.

I'm a hoarder so have over 6 pages of worthless apps and 50gb of videos and pics and yet the speed is phenomenal. It's shockingly faster then my 10.9 iPad Pro which has almost nothing in it.

I'm just blown away by its performance.

No it won't because I went through iPhone upgrade program so I just won't collect it.

I have reserved a 256GB iPhone, £100 more than I wanted to spend but hey ho. Im happy! :D

Good move. I did the same went for 256 instead of 128 I was planning to get. I figure it is better to have too much storage than too little!! :D

Seems a bit unreasonable of them. Is it really busy in there?

So, I'm debating where to sell my iPhone, I've had bad experiences with eBay, so that's not on the cards. I'm leaning towards Carphone Warehouse, as from people on here, they've had a good experience and the prices online are same/better than Mazuma & Envirofone.

Do they match the price on the website if you take it in to a store instead?

Do you need to take cables? as I'd like to keep them for spares.

Also, does it matter I've never bought anything through them before?

The actual line for the iUP was not that long. The rest of the store was quite busy though.

Go back in and try your luck with a different person? :)

I'm wanting to know the exact same thing about CPW. Their price online for my 6s+ is the same as Mazuma so I'd prefer to just take it into a store. I've just tweeted them to find out.

What's had me hesitant, is that I'm sure that, although a few stated they just walked in, were never a previous customer, traded in, with no cables handed in, I thought I saw one or two people saying that they got offered lower as not a customer with them, or wanted cables.

hey guys, should i be trying to find stock on this link: https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/GB/en...33ABBE66697D1186&rv=0&path=&iPP=E&appleCare=Y

or is there a better / other way, this is for the iphone finance in store collection method by the way

That's the best way, as you'll be able to get through it quicker, if you're refreshing istocknow (which I found massively unreliable for reservations) you're wasting time then loading the apple link up and reserving.

That link is for iUP, iPP and paying in full when you get to the store. :)

I sold my 6s Plus to CPW yesterday for £ 390. Apparently they use the phone for parts only. Credit to my card there and then.

That's the price they offer online for a 64GB, same as mine. Sounds good to me then! You didn't have to be a customer with them or anything?

No cables handed in when you took it in? Didn't need to be an existing customer?

There have been over the last week, then more appear randomly during the day too, but it's really a matter of being on the page all day and refreshing, unless you know how to deal with scripts and python.
