iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

I'm guessing that all the 20-23rd got theirs, the next one is 26-30th or something isn't it? They won't start seeing movement until later today, I expect.

There's a separate thread for the October people, so they're probably mostly in there.

Then everyone on the programme will be screwed but i'd guess Apple would have something along the lines of paying the remaining installments to the 11th one in one go.

I doubt July tho, thats a tight timescale for a new model supposedly being redesigned from scratch and with the Samsung Note fiasco they don't wanna be rushing it

Just a quick tip that might help those using the programme, my first installment comes out on the 22nd of each month starting from Oct which means by August 22nd 2017 I would have made 11 payments which is the minimum payments you need to make to be eligible to upgrade to the next model.

Barclays will allow you to change your payment date once a year for free (£10 if you need it change it more than once).

So as long as the iPhone 7s/8/10 is released before 22nd of Sept 2017 then you should be ok to upgrade with the minimum 11 payments, but judging from things that could go wrong i.e lack of stock, reservation issues I've moved my payments to come out on the last day of the month 30/31

This should hopefully give people some extra time to get their upgrade before a 12th installment is made to Barclays

Is the payment day the day you took the deal out? for example you took it out on the 22nd September so your payments are 22nd of each month? I can't see anything in my docs about what day the payment comes out.

Yeah i got £475 for the same model using code a few days after the 7 was announced. Also got £54 back from Apple for unused Apple care. I'm just trying to sell the earpods that i never used

Yup. I got an email this morning from them confirming (couple days after taking it out) and it's monthly based on the date you signed up.

I got mine from Apple on the 21st but the paperwork with the payment date only came this morning. on the 21st they Barclays sent loads of t&cs but only the one i got today mentions the payment date and number to call to change it

We're still here.. Just nothing to report!

I have managed to setup push bullet with my own order status checker code so I get a notification as well as SMS and email (can never get enough alerts!).

Haven't seen the October thread, apart from the one that wasn't just UK.

I'll carry on waiting patiently and trying to grab one in store in the mean time

Just ordered my iPhone 7 plus 128gb in black yay! Bit late on the ordering train as I wasn't decided when preorders came out.. my estimated delivery is between 17th-22nd of October but I'm really hoping it will come sooner than that.. what do you all think? ☺️
 
The 256GB 7 Plus Black that I picked up yesterday came with iOS 10.0.1 software, just thought I'd mention it as I've seen a few posts from people saying they had to update before restoring.

I did the same with my 6s(got £425.35 and clicked via Quidco for an extra £5 cashback. I have rebooked twice so now have 3 envelopes although the last one from Monday this week is for £16 less. Am just waiting on Apple calling to help back up my 6s as been having great difficulty doing so. 2 hours on Monday to Apple and they couldnt get it too work either. iTunes says not enough storage space on PC (even though there is more than ample) and iCloud back ups keep failing (incomplete0.
 

Cheers so it should just be doing this now ive set it up? and when i get a notification then its a race to get to the computer and manually search and order it from the reserve page before its gone again?

ROCK AND ROLL!! You can change the frequency of polls using the nextcheck variable about 30 lines down!!

Yes no way they release it June/July (June 29th is the 10th anniversary), that would also mean they'd need iOS 11 ready by June which isn't going to happen.

I don't think we'll ever see an iPad 3 to iPad 4 debacle again, certainly not with iPhones as that is too vital to their revenue.
 
Cheers guys, i think 60 seconds should be enough, its more the getting to the page in time, refreshing it, entering in store and model info thats going to be the luck part
