So I've set mine up and restored from backup.

This thing is beautiful! I use all my phones without cases (I have AppleCare+) so I can really appreciate it.

My initial impressions:

Home button - felt weird the first couple of times, but I much prefer it now.

Speakers - wow, these things are loud and clear!

Camera - Haven't had much of a chance to test it out yet, but I am going on a walk with my partner tomorrow towards Basingstoke way, so will test the camera out then.

Will update further when I've had more use out of it. Let's just say, I love this thing!!!

I've also decided that I am going to keep the 256GB.

To everyone still waiting, hang in there. It's worth it!

A few shots from the camera. It is stunning! I can't emphasise enough how amazing they look on the wide colour gamut display on the iPhone 7 / 7 Plus. Looking at them on my rMPB and 12.9 iPad Pro, they almost look washed out!

The colours just pop on this display.

All photos taken with the stock camera app and are exactly how they came from the camera, no edits at all.

Sorry to everyone who doesn't yet have their iPhone 7 Plus! :)

Was all set to return my 7+ thinking it's just too big and cumbersome but having used it for the last 48 hours I'm really getting to like it.

One handed use is a challenge at times but the benefits are beginning to win me over.

Would ideally like to use without a case but that camera bump is going to get pretty scuffed up isn't it? Anyone going caseless here? How's it holding up, any scratches to the camera bump lens?

Anyone else with a UPS tracking got the status 'Exception'? Worryingly UPS describe it as

Mine had an Exception warning for a short time whilst it was in South Korea. Didn't last long and they are still delivering it tomorrow, which was the estimated date when it started its epic voyage :D

It is actually DHL Express / DHL global forwarding
And it seems like it Is coming directly from China
Anyone having similar experiences with Apple shipments
As the tracking number is allocated to a shipment from there as well as weighing over 201kg what seems like a lot of iPhones

Hi, DHL express promises 1/2 days delivery , the shipment from DHL global forwarding is due in at Amsterdam tonight so assuming it enters the express network tonight i'd place my bet on you have it Monday or Tuesday. At the latest its going to be Wednesday

I think a lot of us had a rough 24 hours to begin with. I remember thinking I'd maybe made a mistake, but the Plus versions are probably all I'll buy from here on out.

The 6 Plus didn't get any knocks on the camera, reckon it'll be ok on the 7 plus.

Had a naked 6 Plus and 6s Plus, no marks or camera scratches and would never change now, battery, camera etc. so much better.

No, I've had loads of UPS deliveries before and none have ever given a window. DPD are the only carrier I believe to give hour time slots, UKmail do three hours (but they never arrive in that time lol).
Not only that-I had a delivery by DPD (not my 7+ from O2 of course...) the other day and the driver had to wait 2 minutes before his PDA would let me sign for it because he was EARLY !!!.
Their system forces them to be in the time window they tell customers so that they dont miss people who are expecting them.

Ive never heard of that before but its a fantastic idea.

Just tested out the camera feature for the first time when walking the dog and impressed with it.

Only have one sight issue. Anyone with EE only getting 3 bars or less.

Oh I did actually know this as my DPD driver Chris (I order from Amazon prime all the time lol) is always early but he likes my dog so sometimes I think it's deliberate haha :D I love DPD, they've never once let me down.. Unlike my arch nemesis UKmail.

I was caseless with the 6s plus which seemed to stick out just as much. Surprisingly it didn't get scuffed at all! I'm not overly cautious with it but not overly careless either.
I've got the new Apple leather case for the 7plus though and am loving it even though I've always been caseless before. It is good on the back as the sticky out camera is more or less flush with the case so it's less of an issue now.
