I saw plenty 7's in stock at my local store and those same 7's you can pre pay for it now.

Difference between 10pm and the 6am system is that at 10pm you have to pay to collect your model and at 6am onwards you can reserve to pickup without paying in advance.

If you miss a reservation because someone gets there first just hope they dont pick it up and it will become availible again at 10pm.

Thanks, decided to sleep in and check at later times during the day....just as I went on lunch at work some plus' popped up at Trafford and I managed to buy a silver 7 plus through the app for pick up in store today. Picked it up after work and now just waiting for it all to restore. It's lovely, just got to get used to the size (coming from a 6). Thanks again.

Thanks. I've had really bad experiences with John Lewis in the past where they check my order for suspected fraud and then by the time the check is complete they are out of stock. Really sucks.

Do you think it will actually come tomorrow though? There have been lot's of mixed reviews about DHL staying in Gatwick overnight because 'lack of information'

Mine's literally just moved from "Received" to "Order processing". Hopefully that's a good sign... :confused:

I picked up a silver 7 plus from the Trafford Centre, using the same method, on Saturday.

Also, I too have come from a 6s. I was concerned about the increase in size but I needn't have been. I love it!

I just picked up my JB 7+ from Bristol - the one that showed up around 3:30pm.

They said they hold onto reservations for 3 hours just in case. There was no queue, it was just first come first serve. A guy arrived 2 minutes before me so they served him first and then me.

Best of luck with your deliveries!

Yep! Though my hopes are firmly down until I receive the service guarantee email though (once that comes through the order is locked and loaded) - have had so many false positives with John Lewis in the past.

Fingers crossed!
 
Ah congrats to all those who managed to get a JL order! I missed out.
Reminds of the Apple Pencil days. JL came through then. Hoping they'll do it again. ;)

Not sure what's going on with mine at the moment.
Says "in transit" and "on schedule" but with an estimated delivery date of yesterday!
No further updates on DHL tracking since "delivered" at Amsterdam.
Ordered at 8:15.

They would have signed a pretty harsh contract with Apple prior to all this which probably makes sure it does ! End of the day if it hasn't come tomorrow and iv been told by Apple and DHL it will then they will have a problem because iv paid £700 for a device that is already 2 weeks overdue

Check your email my friend, it will have your personalized tracking number in, this will be your original shipping email.

Very confusing. I'm not expecting mine tomorrow. UPS couldn't provide me with any other information when I called. They knew the delivery was from Apple and said that Apple may be able to give me an update to what's going on.

Yeah, definitely this release has been the worst since I've had iPhone's. Usually, I get on the website right when pre ordering starts and I have always got the iPhone delivered on the release date, until now.
