John Lewis peeps - has anyone received a "Your Service Guarantee" email yet for iPhones ordered last night? :)

John Lewis are showing them in stock for home delivery (maybe Store collection also?)
On the return window - Apple, very kindly, gave me an extra week for return which is making all the difference.

Why don't you use the Pushbullet script? I only used it yesterday and was able to find Rose Golds at 3 stores in the south, and they stuck about for a good hour or so after I bought one, so must've had a handful in stock
 
Looks like mine has departed China, and is on the way to Amsterdam.

Got a feeling this lot of phones are hanging around for the ones which are still pfd and they'll move together...

Has anyone ordered from Carphonewarehouse?

I ordered today, with 'delivered by 30th September' promise on the website.
JB 128GB iPhone 7.

Their CS said it would definitely be delivered or I could cancel on the day and get a full refund.

Well I upgraded my 7+ Rose Gold to the 256 via John Lewis this morning and arranged return of the Apple order 128. I thought for the extra £100.00 you get double the memory plus an extra year of warranty and the local JL is walking distance from my house.

  • What I find frustrating for the past year ordering anything on John Lewis website, no matter if you ring your credit card company to say you are about to spend x amount at JL and you have more than enough credit the payment still gets declined due to fraud checks. When i spoke to CC company they say that a lot of fraud is conducted now through JL with high value items which are then returned for a credit note or whatever. Every single time this happens.
