iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

If I get a case it's gonna be an Apple one.

The last 2 Spigen cases I have owned have:
a) Gotten muggy looking quickly
b) Scratched the aluminium and antenna bands

I am tempted to go naked, possibly with a screen protector although those tend to be crap due to the curved glass right?

sound reproduction quality will be poor.. early views seem to say it was similar to the existing bundled headphones.
poor battery life
I've never had a decent fit with EarPods.. i can't see how they will stay in place for the times you might want to use at the gym, run for a bus etc.. they could have had some kind of fin/anchor to keep in place
and finally the price!
 
So... just ordered via very and can get the matte black one next Friday. The one ordered with Apple has delivery date of October 4th to 10th.... You know what I will do later today...!

wait till the Very one actually dispatches before you cancel.. if the Apple order is 4-10th, you will have plenty of time next week to cancel

Or just sell it on eBay for a small mark up! Isn't that why most of the people who want one can't get one.
I bet the queues next week will be full of eBay sellers.

I tend to agree - I like to be open minded about new things, but these seem flawed from the get go & so many will get lost. On the upside it'll be worth keeping your eyes open & on the floor in stations going forward ...

Earbuds generally are the scourge of public transport, there's no way one size can fit all human ears.

I've got full over-ear wired Bose noise cancelling headphones for the train - partly because of leaky Apple earphones all round me! There's a new bluetooth version of those I'd go for if I wanted to go wireless, but it's not worth the money to me. YMMV.

I'm sure it will be fine. I've sold plenty of phones to them in the past and had no issues. I think the edge screens are very prone to shattering.
 
Well I opted for the JB 128 Plus, app was being arsey and the delivery information I had set up decided to default to the previous address! Matterless anyway as I'm on the October 4-10 delivery. (Hopefully)
Now processing and £1 taken from my card.

Dejected by my 2-3 week order I went to the EE store to see what their availability was.

They are certain they will have launch day stock of all devices if you pre order today.

Of course I am beyond sceptical.

But all of their paperwork is geared towards stock arriving on Friday. You even book in a slot of when you will arrive.

So I ordered one from EE. We will see if it does actually arrive on Friday.

I told the manager they definitely wouldn't be getting jet blacks on launch day (trying not to be rude) but he was adamant they would.

Hopefully you went through TopCashBack. They're giving £70 for the iPhone 7 on EE. It'll make up for the ridiculous prices EE are charging per month.

Business contracts. Same price as last year. 12 months, good value. :)

Good if the personal prices are insane because that should dampen demand.
 
Has anyone had experience of editing address delivery details at the processing stage?? Does it cause delays in delivery time? Don't want my 16th to be ruined if poss!
