Depends on your perspective. Size wise, yes I agree. However I would also argue then that Apple has finally taken the leap into wireless audio technology and you'd expect they would take the leap only when they have come up with something quite remarkable. 4 hour battery life for music is terrible, even though they are much smaller. However, from my perspective, I am comparing price points too. £169 is a lot of money and for that, I genuinely don't think there is space for the airpods in the market.
Let's be honest, we'd all be laughing if a third party vendor released the airpods with those specs and features at that price. They would end up at a discount shelf very quickly. I know Brexit tax doesn't help, but even 169$ is a lot.
Nonetheless, don't want to digress too much from the original thread discussion

I'm not a hater of any sorts, but I do think that the airpods are not the solution to the wireless problem.
