god damnit i wish these things would leave ZhengZhou ;0 - i keep refreshing the DHL AND UPS tracking pages -
For the people who originally had a delivery date of tomorrow and had their phone stuck in Korea. Does anyones still say 'In transit: On time' and shows a delivery date of tomorrow still? Mine still states that its in Korea with UPS but they're saying its on time?

Got a Plus MB 128 from Leeds Trinity today too, mines doing the hissing thing...
Will it show as departed China or just update when it arrives in Amsterdam? Also if the DHL plane arrrives there on time i.e. 8pm local time tomorrow is there any chance of delivery on Thursday?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the tracking.
I've been lurking reading this forum for a couple of weeks waiting for a 7 jet black with an October 4th - 10th estimation. The tracking said it was still in Amsterdam today so I phoned apple tonight and the lady told me they're having issues with the tracking and that my phone was in a batch that was on a flight to Manchester tonight. She then told me matter of fact that it would be delivered by end of the week, but definitely not by tomorrow as that wasn't possible.
Guess what? I got off the phone and an hour later at half 7 at night DHL turned up with it.
This hasn't been the normal experience with Apple, the whole thing feels like a mess compared to previous years but at least the jet black is worth the wait, its gorgeous!

Usually I'm gone for dust soon as it arrives, haha. But after the frustration trying to understand the tracking and actually being told matter of fact by Apppe that it wasn't even in the Uk yet an hour before it arrived, thought it was definitely worth a mention!

Having been lucky enough to get an iPhone 7plus 128gb in black from Highcross Leicester today via the online booking I will enjoying not having to check the web at 6am tomorrow! The phone is great and worth the effort!! Good luck if you are still trying to reserve one! I feel your pain!
If you stick your ear next to the Apple logo on the back of the phone i can hear it, it's not really audible otherwise.
It is picked up on quiet video however. Mines been updating, restoring and syncing for the last few hours so it's been put under high loads.
Mine has been stuck in Korea since the 3rd like yours - just checked now and it still says on time for delivery on Wednesday 5th

I don't think they've got any Genius Bar replacements yet, got until the 18th to return it and also my online order is still active and due for delivery on the 25th so will probably keep that going if I can't source a replacement.

Is there no low level hum or white noise in the recording when you record a video in a quiet/silent room. I am having this with my 7+ and am trying to understand if it is common on all of them or only some. My return window ends today, and I am truly torn as to what to do....
Can't say I've noticed. I'll try that scenario out but in my usual usage pattern so far I've not noticed anything.

Sorry about that, it could still go out with the same batch but just not have been scanned yet. UPS have had my phone for 7 days so far and I've been overtaken by people who ordered after me and had delivery estimates the week after mine.
A lot of the excitement about getting a new phone has worn off for me. It's not a new phone any more, I've missed out on all the new phone chat and my feelings about it arriving tomorrow are more "about ****ing time" than "OMG new shiny!".
A large part of me wishes I hadn't been seduced by Jet Black and had gone for the gold with brown leather case I was all set to get before the announcement.
