iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

I've been watching iPhone Plus 128 MB stock arrive at Apple Stores for the last few hours and managed to grab one for pick up in Leeds tonight - 21 days before my Apple.com order was due to be delivered.

JB 7 128GB, estimated 4th-10th, just received. Very pleased with the look and feel of it and glad I waited for this finish.

What a joke... mine is still in Korea like a few others since yesterday ...

Apple tracking says delivers today which clearly isn't likely unless the UPS tracking is completely wrong.

Update for any others checking order dates / delivery dates etc:
My pre-order was placed direct with Apple around 8:15am.
Original estimate was 3-4 weeks - 10-17th October.

I'm extremely happy it arrived a minimum of 6 days early.

Good luck to everyone else.. the wait really is worth it!

Congrats. Meanwhile my 0810 order that was estimated for the 4th - 10th of October is languishing forgotten in a UPS depot somewhere in Korea with no estimated delivery date. What a joke.

i don't understand how they can all be still stuck in Korea, What is going on with UPS, Truly horrific service, Apple are like 'call UPS' why should we, we are paying customers and you would have thought they could send us an email apologising for the delay! and giving us a date when our order will be delivered! Look like nothing is leaving Korea tonight either, The flight normally leaves at around 7pm local time, It's currently midnight, F*****g useless!

How do you track the DHL number beginning with 6?

Maybe it's too early to be on the system yet?

I was wondering the same as when searching on the DHL website it doesn't recognise the tracking number.

I'm in exactly the same position, it's infuriating - highly unlikely I'll get mine tomorrow which was the original date

The apple chat service say that the internal dates they have for delivery for all these devices is Fri 7th so i imagine we won't see movement from Korea until Thursday afternoon! I guess it makes it cheaper for apple to ship thousands of phones at once than sending separate pallets!

right Amigos - lets go through some details i got 3 jet blacks 128gb original shipping date 18-31st oct - they have all been despatched - two are coming via DHL express with a delivery date of 12th October - the one from UPS is coming this friday - as far as i can see the tracking info still shows them in China - incase others have DHL tracking - you should use DHL Freight tracking - that will allow you to track the package to Amsterdam from there it will go to the UK and i believe that tracking number should stay the same - the ups one is straight forward and much easier to track - i would love to hear from others who have similar despatch notices - cheers

Anyone buy AppleCare+ with their shiny new iPhones?

I added it on to my phone today at the Apple Store and I'm curious at the wording of the coverage status:



Why does it say "limits apply"? None of my other products without AC+ say that.

Is this normal? If anyone who has bought AC+ with their iPhone 7 could confirm what theirs says that would be great.

mine has finally updated to 6th also, They will leave Korea tomorrow early afternoon and head to Germany landing around 10pm then will arrive in East Midlands overnight and be delivered on Thursday, HOPEFULLY!

I have same phone coming via DHL and have the same dates as you. Do you think the delivery will be sooner than the 12th October estimate?

The 14 days on my Matte Black plus will be up by the time the JB approves on 6th... dispatched from apple on 28/09 and won't get here till 06/10... even Yodel provide a better service than this

Thank you! I assume it's legalese but just wanted to check that there wasn't some marker on Apple's systems that they thought it had existing damage or something.

Managed to swap my 7 plus over to the IUP today in the Covent Garden Store, must say it was a very easy process, even in such a busy store! I'm not quite sure why Apple Online initially tried to tell me that I couldn't do it. Anyway all sorted now, phone is currently restoring from iCloud. My Aspinal leather sleeve case is on its way, but i'm currently enjoying the phone without any protection, laid bare as it was intended. As for my best skins ever, I'm not sure I'm going to install them as I think they may detract from the glossy feel of the phone!

Got my 7+ Matte black, I was rejected from IUP so I asked my dad to get it for me from IUP. Saw one available in Leeds, Trinity today and snapped it up. SUCCESS. Finally, after weeks of patience. Peace out guys, good luck on you guys who are still waiting... I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

256GB is faster and allows you to feel superior tho... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
