iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

ok boys and girls,

lets go back to the story - ordered jet black 18-31 oct apple time frame - got despatched early - was supposed to get her on the 7th oct - but its not - i see now they didnt load the package on the plane despite what the local Korean UPS rep told me this morning - so i called UPS - they have a backend system which we dont see - they say it is scheduled for the 12th Oct - so what they will do is put it on the next flight out -

The DHL EXPRESS should have given you a tracking number.

That in turn will give you all the details for the flight.

so guess what....CPW got DPD out to send my phone then halfway they requested it be brought back to warehouse. Apparently I am listed as high risk credit score so they wont give me the phone, despite taking the cash from my card. I am new to the UK and have a clean banking history no debts at all. ridiculous. where else can I get a 7 Plus soon pls?

Afraid getting the phone soon is pot luck at the moment, just keep checking everywhere daily.

As for the high risk factor, the quickest and easiest way to help resolve that is to get a credit card, try Vanquis I think they're called, something like that. And use it every month, just for small purchases and most importantly of all, pay it all off every month, every penny. Don't buy anything on it that you don't actually have the money in hand for, so you're only temporarily delaying the payment.

If you pay it all every month, your credit score increases faster than with pretty much anything else. But for the love of god, I can't emphasise this enough, if you're going to do it only buy what you could actually pay for there and then.

You really, really don't want to get into actual credit card debt, seriously that's crucial.

If it seems like I'm overstating the don't get into debt with it bit, good, it needs to be overstated it's important. For one if you get into debt with it, it will have a negative effect on your credit score rather than a positive one. And you'll be paying stupid amounts of interest.

If you even suspect that you don't have the means or the willpower to control your use of the card, just don't get one. If you're sensible and level headed with it, it's a great way to build your credit score and get out of that high risk status.

I hope you do actually get it in that timeframe. My order was placed on the 18th of September. My status page says "3-4" week delivery, but the estimated date is the 24th-31st October. Someone clearly ran out of fingers and toes when they counted that up

im happy and sad i got 3 iPhones coming from apple - MINE was with DHL - my friend's who i ordered for was with UPS - his started quicker with a much better delivery date but now everything has gone haywire in KOREA - THANK GOD FOR DHL !!!!!!! - lets hope they just allow clear thinking people work with our respective deliveries from here on hAHA ;0

Mine's the same - 7 Plus Jet Black on that exact flight. Same info on DHL's website.

I'm really hoping it'll come tomorrow but Apple's website still says it'll be here on Wednesday next week, so I'm not holding out too much hope.

I'm really hoping it'll come tomorrow but Apple's website still says it'll be here on Wednesday next week, so I'm not holding out too much hope.

My delivery estimate is also Wednesday but I am keeping my fingers crossed for Monday. I would be very surprised if any sooner.

You should do. DHL will follow up until it's handed over to the next carrier.

I assume the tracking on the order page will eventually update. We may well be able to watch the next plane arrive online again like the one today. It does help to ramp up the excitement!!

Plenty of people kicking off on the CPW twitter page who's phones should of been arriving or at least dispatched on the 7th saying they have received texts saying they have been further delayed.

I haven't had any message from them so even more confused now!
