so guess what....CPW got DPD out to send my phone then halfway they requested it be brought back to warehouse. Apparently I am listed as high risk credit score so they wont give me the phone, despite taking the cash from my card. I am new to the UK and have a clean banking history no debts at all. ridiculous. where else can I get a 7 Plus soon pls?
I think I'm on the same flight as you all as my last update was for departure at 17:55 from Hong Kong. Where do we think it's flying to? Cologne?
Sounds promising. Hopefully it'll appear on the IUP before then, but at least it's not unheard of for deliveries to be early. Thanks for the replies
You would think they'd be happy that the phones that are hardest to come by are going to the people that will value them the most, and are prepared to really put themselves out to get one.
So after the person on the phone saying it wasn't coming today I had a moan on twitter. They urged me to send an email which I did and got a response basically saying the same thing was the tracking page. I'm resigned to it arriving tomorrow as a best case scenario and then I get a text:

Looking at the flight history for UPS1 it seems like it makes regular trips from Hong Kong to Cologne, so I think so! Mines on the same flight.
It was showing as having arrived in the UK this morning before going AWOL. The woman on the phone said it was slow getting through customs and so didn't make it out to the delivery depot in time for delivery today. Obviously it did, and it's now making it's way from the building reception up to our office.
Great! Thanks! Some rough (and probably wrong calculations) have it in Cologne for 2:30am-ish, it's then just over an hour to the UK... really hope I get it tomorrow or Saturday, I'm flying to Edinburgh on Monday and want to test out the camera!

Just like you I also ordered the same phone and direct from Apple.
Ordered: 25 Sep.
Dispatched: 05 Oct
Now: about 30mins from touch down in Amsterdam.
Have hope, it could come earlier than you expect.
Yeah hopefully we should see something happen tomorrow morning which will either be in local depot or still in germany. But apple still estimating monday for delivery
Order the same spec on the 26th and mines still stuck on Processing with a 25th - 1st Nov.
Hoping it ships soon and I can take the hissing one I picked up from Apple on Tuesday back for a refund.
Looks that way. Other peoples UPS orders have gone via Taiwan, Mumbai and Dubai but ours seems to be heading straight for europe. Back on flight radar now after it lost coverage. Currently over Kazakhstan https://www.flightradar24.com/UPS1/b3984ed
