To be honest mine hums when under load eg when i was restoring from backup i placed my ear on the back and could hear a noise like a HD spinning very faint.

I also upgraded mine to 10.02 and could when putting my ear on back sounded like a 56K dial up modem!!

But otherwise i dont hear anything when using the device for calls and stuff its only when i place my ear at back.

So much ive read around this subject and i think its the way they have been designed. As long as you cant hear it innday to day use then i dont think you should worry. If you can hear it whilst gaming, typing, watching videos etc then its an issue.

As for videos and hissing, many say the mic at back is too sensitive which could be fixed in a software update to reduce the sesitivity of the mic at back.

Honestly if its a defect id rather not take it back and get one thats worse. Id rather use it as it doesnt bother me and if Apple admit its a defect at least id get it swapped out down the line.

Canned my Carphone Warehouse order and getting a refund. By far the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with.

EE matched the deal so decided to order with EE. Does mean I join the back of the queue but id rather deal with them than CPW! And if do decide to change my mind over the next few days I will cancel with EE lol.

With that said not much point in keeping updated with this thread anymore, as by the time I get a 7 Plus this will thread will be redundant.

Hopefully everyone gets there phones ASAP and I will see you next year if I decide to do all this again next year! Sure I will!

Aye it's always an experience anyway I'm growing weary of seeing the same 24-31st October date on my order from Apple, 3-4 weeks my butt.
Hopefully you don't have to wait too long to get your new toy.

hi guys & gals, sorry if answered before, but i just spoke to someone at john lewis, regarding their iphones 7, and they sayin that all their phones come unlocked & sim free, and that it wont get locked to the first sim that you put in, Just wanted to confirm, if that is the case or not, coz im tempted, as they do come with 2 years warranty.
Any help will be appreciated!

It shipment will be released to DE by 5X0011 on 09Oct16 Sunday early in the morning (10:05L) which is departure to DE directly and will be arrived on Monday in the morning.

5X0195 & 5X0011 Two flight delivery service time is same day.

Please keep and monitoring for status of it.

Finally got my Silver iPhone 7+ 256GB on 4th October. Its very nice. I like the larger size but have to say its a soft upgrade over the iPhone 6. The camera & screen are the most noticeable improvements. Once in a case you wouldn't know if it were a 6, 6s or 7. Just saying the hype train is big.

Make sure it's the "raw" python script... I.e. No funny chars or question marks at the end of every line...

Paste line 1 if ur not sure.
@privateryanuk didn't mention it but you can run it via python launcher once uv installed python 2.7 on a mac... just navigate to open with!!

I need help!! Cannot get this to work at all on a Mac. Keep getting Invalid Syntax error!

Using the Python script from this thread, I today reserved and picked up a 128GB 7+ Jet Black and am setting it up now.

It appears they got 4 into stock, so decided to grab on.

With regards to the script, I ran it on an AWS free tier server so that I didn't have to leave something running all the time.

Almost completely random, but early afternoon seems to be the best bet. Be aware though that there were some Plus deliveries (in jet black) yesterday and today, which likely means there won't be another for a few days at least.

If that's what you pasted, you need to reread the instructions.. there has been a whole discussion on whether if you don't understand what some script downloaded from the internet does, you really shouldn't run it but I'll not drag that back up.
Your post suggests you've not changed the API KEY. Go back and check the instructions in both the RAW file AND the privateryanuk post... they are thorough in what they direct you to do

I changed the API Key and also the allowedstores and followed the instructions step by step and that was the error I was getting...

Mine was estimated for Wednesday, now I've got to wait until Monday because my phone didn't get on the delivery from Exeter. Oh well, whats another 3 days gonna do

I'm waiting on an iPhone 7 Plus Matt Black 256GB from Apple.

Ordered 30th September (gave up waiting for EE). It was showing 3-4 Weeks. Delivery showed the week beginning 31st October.

Then Yesterday my card was charged, and phone was dispatched. Showing delivery 19th October from within apple.

DHL have it booked on this flight:

Y8 7453 CGO AMS Sat, Oct 08, 2016 09:40 (Local) Sat, Oct 08, 2016 14:40 (Local)

I'm hoping it comes sooner than 19th, time will tell

C'mon... as long as this scripts been out there, the expectation that you understand what u are running has existed.. and has been stated by many. I'm not parsing near 600 pages to find the discussion!
And as helpful as this forum is intended to be, you'd happily run ANY script presented on the net?

From a command shell enter "python -V" without the quotes and hit return... u should get the version number back. The script only runs over 2.7. (Or minor revisions of)

That'll be the pallet we are waiting for to add to our pallet that's been in Amsterdam since Thursday evening.
You should find your pallet will be then added to ours that is set for customs clearance Sunday afternoon.
