I know its impossible to answer this question but, when the hell will the new 'portrait' mode be in use on the 7+? One of it's made selling features still not readily available 1 month or so on......Pfffft.
The tech establishment seems to be of the opinion the current iOS 10.1 beta will be the last. So, final release will probably be in the next few weeks.

Using it now, install the beta and portrait away. The beta is pretty solid not had any issues

Anyone with a delivery date in the next 7-10 days seen any movement yet?

MB 128GB Plus ordered on 28th September still processing.

How does the process work of reserving an iPhone then picking it up from a store? If I manage to reserve one can someone else pick it up for me and if so do they need some kind of i.d?

They've been fine however, this could ask for ID. Normally, they'll accept a name and not ask for ID if you make it clear that you wish to by by card/cash.

So so tempted to just go for the 0% 20 month installment plan but not sure If I'd be accepted :/
Checked my credit on experian, I dont have much credit history im considered "Fair" but im not far away from "Good".

Reserved one but missed my appointment, so may just have to reserve one tomorrow morning and go for it.

But hard search and risk of getting declined is:rolleyes:

I got turned down despite my score being good on Experian, different companies use different scoring so can't really be sure what will happen. Not sure who/what Barclays use but for some reason they always turn me down, they turned me down for £819 loan yet I've had no problems getting £8 grand loan for a car from someone else, ridiculous!

The Upgrade Program is a complete mess because of the zero stock issue on any + model.

The phone was launched a month ago and it's unlikely I'll be able to get my hands on one for at least another month if not longer. The program requires you to pay off 11 months before you can upgrade. I'll be about nine months in by the time the next model is released and therefore not able to use the program for the reason it was invented in the first place.

I've had the Telegram bot for about a week with not one single stock notification. I love you Apple but you've really not thought this one through.

Apple upgrade programme or payment plan, thoughts?

I took it out. Interest free and includes AppleCare plus. When iPhone 7s or whatever it's going to be called you can get the new model and either A, pay off the remaining of the 20 months and keep your iPhone 7 or B, return it to Apple for (probably) a reduced rate. Either way you just start a new 20 month payment plan. I'll probably do option A and sell the 7. I think it's a good deal.

You'll have the option to pay it all off in 9 months or up to the 11 repayments so you can upgrade. You're getting a £700+ phone and It's an zero, interest free loan. What's not to like?

Only thing not to like is the compulsory AppleCare+ that is included with it

I'm sure I read somewhere you can remove apple care which reduces your monthly amount to suit

I was right I did read it, but if you want to be in the upgrade programme you have to have apple care, my bad sorry

Never mind just ordered one from tesco. They have stock of the 128GB black plus.

lucky you! All stock gone now!:(

Checked online and both Glasgow stores had 128gb pluses! Ordered for pickup and rushed through. Now a very happy Plus owner!

Apologies, I know this has been asked and answered many times -

but can anyone confirm whether it is still possible to reserve an iphone online under the IUP upgrade option, and then switch it to a straight cash purchase when in store?

It is.

I'm really annoyed that my 256gb JB 7+ is still processing although there seem to be stock in most places! Although my order does say Estimated 18th-31st October. Waiting patiently since pre-ordering on 9th September at 8:15!

If you're close enough to a store go collect one and then cancel your order.

You are right I might as well go to Sheffield and get one. I wont be pre-ordering anything in the future as it seems quicker just to pick it up!
