I guess I do really have a wait on my hands then. This will be my first plus so I'm looking forward to it.
Worth the wait! Finally stuck with the + after trying the 6+ and 6s+ and going back both times to the smaller sibling. You get use to it quickly and it doesn't even feel 'big' any more. Picking up a standard size actually feels small now
If you returned to the standard size from both the 6+ and the 6S+ what made you stick with the 7+? Is the 7+ really that good?
The only reason I went for the 7 was the dual camera on the plus. I'd have stuck with the 6s otherwise. I'm also thinking next years "anniversary iPhone" will probably have a feature which again will only be on the larger phone. This years 7 gives me time to adjust to the size for next year!
Thanks very much for sharing this info. After seeing waits of 6-8 weeks for the JB plus, I thought there was no chance but went online about 11pm and bought one for pickup in Cambridge today. Very pleased. I've come from a 6s so getting used to the size but it looks gorgeous. Think I'll need a case to calm my nerves. I ended up paying in full in the end as I wanted it to go through my company but i think i could have changed it to the upgrade program when I went in if anyone else is considering doing that.
I like your thinking and the camera is one of the reasons I choose the plus. It was between the 7 & 7+ and I'm pleased I went all out. The plus is really a plus iPhone.
I picked mine up from there last week and JB is definitely the best colour despite me saying i wouldn't order one and originally owning a MB.

Can I ask how you did it, I tried about 10 last night and it wouldn't let me reserve for pick up as it said that option was unavailable. I've failed every time with the 6am option as well
I ordered the 7+ JB 256gb on 9th September on Apple.co.uk at 08:15 and still it says delivery 18th to 31st October. Has anyone seen any improvement on their pre-order from Apple.co.uk website itself? Has anyone managed to get a 7+ JB 256gb from elsewhere?
Next to identical order... I had a 128g model arrive last eeek but my 256g is still sowing as processing with the same delivery dates

You have to place an order through the store and select pickup rather than doing a reservation at 10pm.
If you want to use iUP they will let you do a refund and re-purchase through iUP when you collect.

Yeah I tried that and it said unavailable to all the places! Maybe there were just none in stock I guess?!!
Yeh keep trying mate. I checked about 11pm. The wait says 6-8 weeks but as the guy before said if you select pickup from store instead, you'll see the availability and if you're lucky you can get one the next day.
Find the post using telegram for notifications for stock.
Works great and all you need to do is be ready to pull the trigger.
When there is stock it will show on the IUP and as a pickup if you purchase online (abut you have to physically press to check the stock status if you do a pay online and pick up in store order.)

What's quicker, in your opinion? IUP way or pickup way? I got the notification for a 256GB JB 7 Plus today but I missed out (again) through the IUP because of the phone code stuff...
