Last year I moved from Vodafone to EE and the EE network is MASSIVELY better in my experience.

Even if you get 4G on Vodafone it would run at 5-8 meg.

EE would be 50 meg plus.

Perhaps I should leave it. Better coverage and data rates are more important to me. It was the international EU data allowance that appealed. I have Spotify anyway, so it's not much difference in total cost but the 20gb v 10gb and the 4gb roaming appealed but pointless if I can't Use it!

I'm on Vodafone and regularly see speeds of 50Mbps.

Mobile coverage is so subjective and there is no "best" network, it simply depends on where you live, work and travel.

I wish so much I had jumped on the 16gb for £20 per month EE deal. With three currently but their network sucks and is getting worse and worse
V0dafone have a couple of SIM Only promotions:

20 gig for £20 per month.
25 gig for £25 per month.

I got email at 8:03 and mine is still showing 27-29 at the moment.
Still hoping for a delivery on release day!

My bank have royally screwed me over thanks to their fraud prevention. Struggling to get a card authorised for payment at the moment :(
This usd to happen all the time for big purchases with me (even though there's never been any real problem with the card).
I changed to Apple Pay (on Apple app) and since then no problem at all - just sails straight through ;)

Thanks mate but don't think much of Vodafone. Been with them previously and find their network not great and the customer service a bit lacking

Mine too

As long as it arrives on the earliest date and not 10th

At least we don't have to wait until November, like some people  I'm really looking forward to trying out the new dual lens camera. I'm excited for other features as well, since i'm still using a 6 Plus, i will get last years features/upgrades as well as this years, so I'm looking forward to it :D

Same here, I hope so too haha

It may just be wishful thinking on our part ;):)

Of course.

But whether it's been Wales, Birmingham, Manchester, London, Southampton, Guernsey, or cruising down the M1 listening to Beats 1, I can't actually recall a time in the last year that I've not had at least 3G with EE.

With Vodafone no service was a daily experience. Maybe their network has improved lately.

Looks like its only the Jet Black Plus phones that aren't seeing any movement in delivery dates.

I got an order in at 8.03 for a 256Gb Jet Black 7 Plus......given a 26th Sept-3rd October window - and that hasn't moved at all since yesterday.

Anyone else with a Jet Black Plus seen any progress in "Preparing for despatch" or a pull forward of the anticipated date?

Mine are still showing as 27-29th Sept for 7+ black and 1-2 weeks jet black 7 so no changes for me

Hoping they start changing by weekend or Monday

Finally checked into this thread again.

Ordered the following:

- Black iPhone 7 Plus 32gb - Delivery 27th to 29th Sep

- Apple Watch Series 2 Space Grey 42mm Sport - Delivery 2 Weeks

Had a confirmation email by 8.10am and still have poor delivery times :(

my 27-29 Sep order at 8.08AM has moved forward to 20-22 Sep.. still only 'processing' at the moment. I still hold out hope for launch day delivery

Another one!

My confirmation email was earlier than yours and I'm still on 27-29, what gives. That's like 6 people now who have been moved up...

I wake up this morning and my iPhone 7 Plus Black 128GB is still on 27-29th Sept shipping date. I think I need to accept that it won't be changing :(

Phone 7 Plus 256GB jet black with 8:02 confirmation email with delivery estimate 26sept/3oct

I think it's because Apple has made less of them, and they have simply sold out REALY fast. It's funny because some people on this forum yesterday morning and days before, were saying "Don't worry you'll be able to get the model you want, everyone is waiting for next years phone" or things like "The design hasn't changed, i cant see Apple selling many of these" People were even questioning Apple because for the first time, Apple knew they were going to sell out, and have decided NOT to announce launch weekend sales.
But to answer your question, no i haven't seen any movement on my order for the Jet Black 7 Plus!

Just went to cancel my iPhone 7 Black with Apple and it states I cannot cancel as it's preparing for shipping.

Do I now have to wait for it to arrive then return it for a refund?

(Gone with Vodafone)

Last year The plus models didn't sell out for a few hours. I wonder if demand is higher this year or Apple haven't been able to make as many in time?

Yes or refuse to accept the delivery. That's the quickest way.

If you have an Apple Store near you , you can just take it into the store and get a refund.... saves sending it through the post

I had this exact same issue last night. Ordered using the iPhone Store app with Apple Pay linked to my Lloyds debit card. Checked the order status last night and it said payment failed, so tried again and using different cards, no luck. So I called up about 8pm yesterday and when I got through the (very helpful) lady said she'd take my card details down from scratch again and it went through first time. She was very apologetic but had no real explanation. I can now see the payment in my pending transactions on Lloyds online banking and the order has moved to preparing for dispatch. At the moment my delivery date is still showing as 16th so fingers crossed.

Pehaps they have an issue with Apple Pay?

Thanks. We've now called up and the payment went through, they alluded to an issue with Apple Pay.
