iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Pre-Order Shipping Estimates Begin Slipping

Finished order @ 12:40pm PST for iPhone 7 Plus Black 128GB AT&T. Delivery between Oct 4 - Oct 10. Bummer 
Same here. First time having a bad experience pre-ordering because Verizon kept rejecting my correct password sent by the Apple Store. Now the Jet black has slipped to November and I don't know what whether to go to the Apple Store on the 16th or just preorder and wait.
Just got a regular black 7 bc it was the only black phone available anywhere in the country apparently. Checked random states lol. Being on the upgrade plan sucks this year apparently. Wanted the 7+ but I'm not making an extra installment payment to get it when I'm only 60/40 about getting the plus anyway. They really messed this one up.
All I was hoping for was the ability to reserve it for ASAP if not the 16th. If it's not available, would I be able to get it at my store in October, November? A ship to store option would've been nice for that.

Unavailable pretty much instantly. Couldn't get in for 10 mins then it was selling out pickup windows during checkout process. It couldn't hold one in reserve till credit card processed a success or failure? **** dude even Ticketmaster has a queue.
I have a feeling mine in Harrisburg PA already at the facility where all the iPhone's at order jet black 128 GB AT&T via Apple coming next Friday
I am going to wait. They either don't have enough units or did it on purpose to create headlines. Not happy either way.
You cannot buy a phone without service. It's as much a check for that as it is eligibility.
I have hope. I believe this happened for the rose gold last year. So I have faith. Definitely not canceling my order . Orders slipped all the to November already.

This may be a silly question, but does that happens sometimes? I'm pretty bummed about the deliver date of my 7 Plus. I'd love to have some hope that it's possible. Let me know please!

In WI at 12:03 when the site finally came up all that was/is available for a 7+ rose gold in all the different capacities. The regular 7 there was a gold in the lowest model.
The annoying part is you couldn't reserve anything out of stock, like even to get on a waiting list. I settled for the 7 when I wanted the + bc I don't want to make an extra installment payment on my 6s and wait a month to get the plus. If I just knew I could get a black + in September I would've waited but there's no way of knowing with the in store reservations.
The easiest thing to do is try for in store pickup after the phone is released on the 16th. It might take a week or two but keep checking everyday and you'll get a phone sooner than later.
Did anyone get a message at checkout saying they couldn't connect to the carrier and they have reserved a device for you.
yep...the black and jet black were never available for people in the upgrade program.
Yeah, you likely aren't waiting until then. Mine is supposed to ship in November but I expect I will have it in the next 30 days.
