Bottom line is, not everybody has "outdated" applications or feels the need to transfer photos/videos, etc, or even utilizes Google for that matter. You Certainly have options to transfer your data as you stated, but everybody's situation is different.
I think you'd be surprised how many forum members actually have a 256 GB iPhone for storage, let alone the 128 GB. It doesn't take much to fill up 128/256 with pictures, videos, etc.

I'm sure there is plenty of outdated info and material for majority of the users to reach close to 200 GB on a smartphone! Aside from pictures & videos, most material in a phone is outdated and could be wiped out to save storage

Thanks but Swappa pays much better than that. My quote is 365 $ in Sellshark whereas in Swappa I got around 400 maybe more.
the product red iPhone is sexy. I bought several of them thinking I could sell for profit. But it looks like the stock is doing pretty good. Now I'm torn if I should keep it or not.

I actually think that a red ring would look a bit silly and I have no doubt that a mock up with a red ring was made, looked at, and most likely rejected. Also, red ring variant would make in-store screen replacement problematic as that would be yet another screen combo they would have to stock.
Seriously thinking about picking up one of these in Plus size and relegating the 6s, with it's cracked screen, to backup duty.
If you made an impulse decision, return it and get a full refund. It doesn't make sense to look to sell on the used market, where you will lose money.
Like how I feel about jet black over matte black, I think a jet red would have been amazing.
I was at two different Apple stores the last two days at opening time. If there was interest folks would be there buying. There was no lines and no one asking for the red iPhone. Best return those extras.
I'm considering the red come upgrade time at Christmas. Problem is it's lowest capacity is only 128gb... I doubt I can afford it. 64 would have been in my grasp I think!
I jumped from a Pixel to a 256 Red 7+ yesterday. Beautiful color and I'm going to rock it naked as I have AppleCare with the iPhone upgrade program through Apple. Oh, and I need all 256GB, wish they had a 512!
Hand it down to someone who will appreciate it.

How? 128 took pricing place of 64 on 6s from the year before

I was able to exchange my 6 week old Jet Black for the red 7 plus at Apple yesterday. Love the red.
