There are many third party accessories that act as tripods. I've found that with a steady hand and OIS the results are in focus, but exhibit that watercolor painting effect that also happens in regular conditions when the noise reduction software goes overboard for some reason.
Would they invest R&D into something only to replace it one gen. later? To me it sounds more like the stupid button will remain for at least the 2017 model
very interested the camera comparisons between the duel camera and the S7/note 7.
Come on still will wait for the anniversary iPhone. Meanwhile if they really do so i will miss that old iconic home button

They are eliminating that feature.
They are invited to do so, if they can guarantee that the software would never freeze again
Who even came up with that? There wasnt an anniversary iPod or MacBook, was there?
I mean iOS 10 had its anniversary this year and its nothing revolutionary either

People are "hoping" that next years Apple phone will be awesome and Apple has been saving a new design for an anniversary they have never celebrated .
While Apple has actually moved to three year cycles on its iPhone launches to squeeze extra profit out .
The disappointment and realisation will not kick in till 2019 when we get the iPhone 7SS....

Sure but then you're carrying an accessory around. And OIS won't help you when you're zooming. In fact, you might even want to be able to turn it off if you're using a tripod. It's recommended for DSLR's on tripods.
This years iphone will be a good upgrade for certain users but it seems more will be looking towards the redesign and upgraded screen. this year if it comes in space black, waterproof, great camera will be a good upgrade for many people. people need to come to terms with no headphone jack
Unlikely this year but... still no leaks of the front of the iP7, there's a tiny chance the button could be smaller and the symmetrical chin and forehead might be smaller / taller screen. Pretty sure the mockups have used iP6 fronts.
Where i said revolutionary??? i am just waiting for the next big redesign and that will be happening on its 10 anniversary
If you are brought into the ecosystem and like new toys , each update brings something new.
The 3.5mm , it will play out , both camps are being a tad illogical of what the impact of his will be with the average user , let's see.
My bigger concern right now is the strong US dollar, and a potential pro model, meaning the price is going to be very high outside of the US. The top spec iPhone is getting too damn expansive.

I would expect Touch ID 2 will make its way to future iPads.
Thought the rumours of pro were shot down by the leaks guy.
I do worry how much the 256GB model will be though. Would never need that much storage anyway
Except it didn't. Well, internally, I'm sure it did, since the iPad/iPhone prototype pair was years in the making but, in fact, the first Apple devices featuring multitouch were the 2005 iBooks and PowerBooks, which allowed for two-finger gestures a full two years before the iPhone launch and a year before the Intel switch and the MacBook Pro launch.

Me, too. I can't wait for both products to be fully released and reviewed and compared. The Note 7 camera is the same as the one in the S7 so it's a known quantity by now, I think. But the dual camera on the IPhone 7 Plus or Pro is going to be all new and an unknown quantity. I think for me, it is the only truly exciting thing about this release.
