I received my iPhone 7 today, and the battery drain over the course of the day was quite normal. At around 25%, I plugged it in to charge (using the same charging cables that I used for my iPhone 6, which are all officially licensed lightning cables), and it has since been draining further despite being plugged in. Went down to about 9%. Did a hard reset, it started to charge up again, but has since been draining while charging. It hasn't been under any special load while charging, so I'm not sure what to make of this. Has anybody else been experiencing this problem? Thanks!

It's also getting worse battery life than my iPhone 6, and I restored everything exactly the same. Not sure what to do about all this..

Have you checked what app is eating the battery. Your iPhone can use way more power than the little charger can produce if something is running wild in the background. Jus playing a game can use more power than the little charger can provide.

In an otherwise useless review, iLounge actually mentioned that charging takes longer then a 6S.
At least the iPad Pro let you fast charge.

You just got it. It's obviously doing a bunch of background tasks. Turn the screen off, plug it in, and let it do its thing for a while.
