I still suspect it will be either Sept. 7th OR maybe the 12th. I expect the official announcements / invites to go out by tomorrow, perhaps this coming Monday the 28th at the latest. I'll watch the event even tough I plan on skipping the iPhone 7. I'm far more excited for Sept. 2017 - iPhone 8, 10th Anniversary...hoping for BIG BIG changes!

I still think it will be the 7th, Apple holds events especially iPhone events on Tuesday or Wednesday's. I'm planning on buying the iPhone 7 Plus, and if next years is a big upgrade I'll just sell the 7 Plus and get that one as well. The event invitations will probably be sent out very soon, if not today, there is always tomorrow. The 7th of September will be 2 days after Labour day in the US, we don't have it here in the UK.

Sept 7 for the iPhone 7. Has a ring to it
August 8th for MacB88k Pr8 would have been great.
You can make up these dates as you go.

... but I have to say. I have a Note 7 in my Amazon Shopping Cart and I"m not sure what I'll do when the keynote is over.

I really liked the iPhone 4, the 6 was OK because of the size change, but buying a iPhone 7 is somehow not on my radar.
The Euro pricing with case and Apple Care are insane.

Yea i still think it will be either the 6th or 7th, it makes sense as it's a couple of days after labour day, for those who live in the US. I'm betting invites will go out soon, maybe today or early next week, depending on how much time they want to give the people they invite, which is usually members of the press.

I'm really impatient to know what day it is. I'm so excited to get Watch 2 (I don't have the first)

They might not announce the Apple Watch 2, it will likely be the 7th, that is the rumour and what the credible leakers have said, people such as Mark Gurman.

10 days left and still not announce schedule yet ,,,, are they really care ????

never saw this happend before ..........

maybe they meeting inside to decide launch oled iphone 2016 instead 2017 ,,, no wait next yrs ........

No need to panic, there is still plenty of time, there is today and next week. Apple have sent out invites the week before, in the past. And it's not 10 days, it's 13 days until the 7th September, which is when the event is rumoured to be taking place.

i have this feeling its not happening till september 13th or 14th based on where they have the event 2nd week of september like they usually do. preorders would be that friday the 16th and available the 23rd like some rumors have pointed to.

Oneof the best and credible leakers, Evan Blass has said the iPhone 7 will release on the 16th September, pre-orders on the 9th. Which means the event will be on the 6th or 7th of September. He once again confirmed just a couple of days ago.

He also said he believes it would not be called the iphone 7.

I don't remember him saying that, he's a very good and reliable leaker, along with Onleaks and Mark Gurman who worked for 9to5 Mac, all of them have said the event will be September 7th, so unless Apple have changed it last minute, I tend to believe them. We will find out soon.

I stand corrected. I don't believe him on that, I think they will be called the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but I do still think the event will be on the 6th or 7th of September. Just because invites haven't gone out yet, Apple can send them any time really.

I will actually love it if they call them the iPhone 6 SE and 6 SE Plus or whatever. People will riot and say they won't buy them because of the name. But in the end everyone will still buy it.

They won't do that, the SE is already using that name. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is much easier, not to mention a better marketing strategy, people are getting the flagship with the 7 and 7 Plus, the SE isn't.

I agree with the September 7th event date, and i honestly also believe it will be 6se and 6se plus, just like how the se is the third version of the 5s technically speaking.
