So make my 7 25% thicker, put the dual camera in it and use the rest of the space for extra battery and I will pay an extra hundred dollars. I bet a lot of people are with me, not having to charge their phone ever inside of one day
I feel your pain brother. I'd pay the same price they charge the plus for the 4.7"... if it packed the same featuresWell reading between the lines that's another knife in the back for any hopes of the smaller model getting more features compared to the Plus model, if nothing they may reduce its features even more I guess now?
Would be so nice to see a bezeless 5" model..
Why are you even talking about this? Who cares anymore?
Love my 7 Plus. I surprisingly adjusted well to the size of it. But It's worth the advantages over the 4.7 variant with the dual camera and 1080 P screen.
I thought you don't need more than 3.5"? Guess all the apologists are wrong again.
If Steve was here who knows if we would even have a big iphone.Tim how about doing something with the larger screen?
i swear the apple software team is on vacation.
we have **** mail app, siri, calendar, and ios that doesn't offer anything more other than rotating icons in landscape
but open that app then it goes back to portrait .
I'll be the 1st to say this but Steve Jobs would have never let that happen.
True. I bought 7+, too 'cause after 1+1 I couldn't stand the low resolution display on 7. It's obsolete. It's not because 7+ is superior but because 7 is inferior.
"Major selling point" is subjective. At least there's a reason now other than size to go with the Plus. When the 6+ came out the only other major selling point seemed to be that you could rotate it into landscape mode. ...snip
Most of the Note customers went with an S7/Edge. Even if the Note users had gone with a 7+, it wouldn't have been a really significant boost to the 7+ sales. The Note had an "outsized" reputation but was never a big volume seller.Might the latest quarter "record sales" have something to do with the Samsung Battery debacle? Not being a downer, just haven't seen this pointed out anywhere.

I wanted to buy Google Pixel XL but I don't like fingerprint scanner on the back and headphone jack on top so I had to settle for 7+ but looking forward to the next Pixel XL.Not surprising. Many people were holding off upgrading to the larger models and the 7 Plus is by far, the best phone Apple has made.
That makes no sense. Why do you think he wouldn't want a large phone? Are you having other worldly conversations with him. In fact, I know he was in favor of a larger phone. If Steve was here who knows if we would even have a big iphone.
Because he always said phones should be for one handed use. That was his whole point of taking the mick out of bigger phones at the time. Being able to touch the top of the device with one hand. That makes no sense. Why do you think he wouldn't want a large phone? Are you having other worldly conversations with him. My wife has the 7 Plus and I am trying to figure out a workable way to carry it. I have the 6S and really like the larger screen on hers. I just don't know if I can make it work with a rugged case for pocket carry. I am looking forward to a bezeless design.
I carry my iPhone caseless, so it's not to much of an issue when in the front pocket. Unless your the type of guy who wears skinny jeans. Haha. It's really a matter of adjustment over time.
But I too would appreciate a bezeless design. I think it's coming in September 2017.

It doesn't matter why it's the most popular, just that it is the most popular. Most popular out of, oh, how many? Three? Yeah...not surprising.
So you're admitting iPhone 7 has compelling features?Dual cameras are probably one of the main reasons it's more popular.
well if you use it primarily and mainly as a "phone" then standard size is definitely the way to go.I went from iPhone 6 Plus to iPhone 7. I would never go back to such a huge phone.
