You mean....in your opinion. It was his opinion on why he believed both are best. What other Phone are you indicating has better hardware or why are you indicating "No?" What are you contesting exactly?[/
Of course it's my opinion.

3. Probably. Question is how much the camera actually makes a difference to the average buyer. My guess is not a lot.

That's the whole thing right there. I would pay more for a better camera, but when I went to buy my 7 my decision came down to which am I using more, the phone/apps itself or the camera. Of course I use the phone more and the camera, well, the best camera is the one you have with you. I just can't deal with the Pluses size. Too big to run with and just using in general (don't want to two hand).

I think Apple is leaving $ on the table by not making an upgraded 4.7 model with similar features at the Plus. Obviously the Plus can fit in more because of it's size but Apple could have made the 4.7" a tad thicker and put in at least a single optical zoom lens. Charge $50-75 more. I'd pay. But I can't use a 5.5" phone if Apple thinks its going to lure 4.7" users in. That strategy failed with the 4.0 if they didn't notice and then had to backtrack with the 6SE.

I wonder what has happened to all the Apple cultists who insisted that 3.5... I mean 4 inches was the perfect screen size and that Apple was so wise and brilliant for sticking with it...

No. That's not what you did. You definitely applied your assertion replying with a "No" to the hardware question without explaining why. "No" doesn't equate to an opinion if you don't justify it.

Most forums/posts also work the same way where you answer the questions someone asked you in return. But assuming how you seem to always deflect yourself away from the actual point is becoming of you from previous threads without answering the questions.

So, again, I ask you to clarify the hardware question from the previous post.

Might the latest quarter "record sales" have something to do with the Samsung Battery debacle? Not being a downer, just haven't seen this pointed out anywhere.

There were several articles written that stated Apple benefited very little from the Note debacle. According to the articles most just went with another Android phone. Whether that is true or not is beyond me.

Why are you even talking about this? Who cares anymore?

Because they can't move on for whatever reason. Just like the Android fanboys that claim you still have to use iTunes to own an iPhone. They either can't read or just don't keep up.

Most popular out of, oh, how many? Three? Yeah...not surprising. Dual cameras are probably one of the main reasons it's more popular.
So you're now going to pretend all the trolls and haters didn't say it wouldn't sell, because no legacy headphone jack? "Evade, evade!!"

Tim how about doing something with the larger screen?

i swear the apple software team is on vacation.

we have **** mail app, siri, calendar, and ios that doesn't offer anything more other than rotating icons in landscape

but open that app then it goes back to portrait .

I'll be the 1st to say this but Steve Jobs would have never let that happen.
Revisionist nonsense. You don't know Jobs and likely didn't have any or many products under his tenure, because if you did you'd realize there were plenty of software issues. iPhone OS v1 couldn't even do MMS, or copy & paste.

So how come Windows Phone didn't have record sales? Or take the #1 spot? Oh yeah, because other phones suck. It's only iPhone that people stand in line for on launch days, year after year after year. Only iPhone.

I am flattered you have taken interest in my previous posts. In my opinion the the s7 hardware is superior. It has a superior screen (my opinion) in a compact form factor.

I thought you don't need more than 3.5"? Guess all the apologists are wrong again.

You mean like Steve Jobs?

Steve took the opportunity to rip on bigger rivals, saying that making a phone so big "you can't get your hand around it" helps, but that "no one's going to buy that."

They've split up. Some are still defending "you don't need more than 1GB DRAM" on iPhone/iPad and others defending "emoji bar is better than touch screen on Macbooks" while proclaiming "profit$" above everything. LOL

The main reason people around me have gone to the Plus size is two hand use. Even though the 4.7 is smaller its still not 100% a one hand device, "so why not go big if im using two hands anyway?" is the response I get.

Yes, I had this. Why did they even bother with landscape mode if hardly anything supports it. I dock my phone in landscape, so I want a background picture and lock screen that isn't turned 90°. I want the phone app, weather app, etc to support portrait. The new TV app doesn't even support landscape, how silly is that? You have to find what you are looking for in portrait and then turn to landscape once the video start playing.

What bugs me is why the heck does the keyboard not have a dedicated row for numbers?
This will work fine on the 4.7 let alone the 5.5.

The only IOS device that has this is the 12.9 inch iPad pro...

Samsung recalled ALL of their Galaxy Note 7's and lost 17 million in revenue. Coincidentally, the Apple equivalent are the Plus models. Apple crediting themselves for these increased sales might sound better to investors. just maybe. hahaha

Try not to get to flattered, this is a public forum.

Second, when you answered the OP by stating "Software, yes, Hardware, no." That's not an opinion. That's an assertion you made definitively. An opinion is something you relate or explain. Hence, why I asked you.

And if you recall, you were the one stating Ive and Cook called Apple a "Fashion Company." Which you also failed to elaborate and wasn't true (Which I researched.) If one asks for clarification on something, you might want to have the substantiation proving how you know that indefinitely or explaining further. That's how forums and discussions work.

I'm coming down with a cold. I was trying to get caught up on this thread when I realized it's apparently got several different arguments going on simultaneously. Then an alert from CNN popped up and told me Beyoncé is pregnant with twins and posted a sonogram on Instagram. Why does CNN always interrupt me to tell me Beyoncé news? My mind is officially exploded. I'm going to go look at pictures of cats with bread on their heads while I eat lunch.

I'm going to look at them on my iPhone 7 Plus. yay iPhone. I miss my Note 7, but whatever. A smart phone is just a tool, no need to take them personally. I just went with the ones that were available, interesting and affordable when I had the opportunity. (No dating analogies please). They all interrupt me with news about Beyoncé and all show me pictures of cats with bread on their heads.

why are you researching my post history? Seems you have an unhealthy obsession with me. I think it is safe to assume that what I post is my opinion and not necessarily anybody else's.

If you recall, you were involved in that discussion regarding the fashion company statement that you generated and was untrue. For a second time, It's a public forum and researching is a tool in this website open to everyone.

Aside from what you consider opinions, you post fabrications on this forum. I called you out multiple times and you manage to deflect away every single time away from posting statements of evidentiary nature, when requesting how you know what you stated. And.....your post history reflects this on multiple threads.

I will keep posting my opinions (which are not fabrications) and will look forward to your ridiculous assertions. Thanks for giving me a laugh.

You post deflections away from what was asked of you continually. Forums don't work the way you perceive. The issue I have with your posts aside from avoiding answering your half empty claims, is you generate "Opinions" that have zero credibility that you never cite with a source when requested. I already provided you an example of the Cook/Ive Fashion statement post you completely distorted out of value. And then you conveniently backed out of that discussion to stray away from being called out.

I called you out on multiple threads, because I sensed dishonesty in your posts, that has nothing to do with opinions, that's called facts. If I sense nonsense, I have every right to question you. Rather you choose to answer is apparent in ALL your responses. You don't have to like what I say, but I have nothing to hide, which you habitually do.

That's unsurprising.
The trend has been toward the bigger screen and hence plus becomes more and more popular

It is not hard to "claim" the Plus model is selling well, when the dual camera option is not available on the non-Plus model. I would be interested if the dual camera was available on both non-Plus and Plus model, which one would sell better.

"Alternative Facts" brought to you by the Trump Administration. More spin from Tim Cook and Co.
