iPhone 7 Plus loses about 1% of charge per hour, doing nothing but sitting. Any suggestions?

That doesn't really tell me what's eating battery power in the background, does it?

The battery statistics displays both on screen usage times and background activity times. Tap on each item to switch between usage data breakdown.
[doublepost=1477419204][/doublepost]And btw. Do you use FB a lot?

Thank you! It was Flipboard.

No, I hate Facebook.

Good you found the culprit.

I turn off ALL background activity.

FB on Droid would drain an S7 Edge about 10% per hour in the background. Good you don't use it. It's a facade of stupidity.

I went to bed last night at 10:30 pm with phone on 100%. Got up with it on 98% at 5:30AM. Very happy with it's overnight performance, which included roughly 15 facebook and 12 email notifications and about 15 tweets.

That's excellent!

It surprises me how well iPhone manages its sleep state on my Plus.

Yes last night it was 10:30 bed and 5:30 up and still on 100%, but very little activity, with just a few emails and facebook notifications. I have never been able to get that with any iPhone in the past, and it reminds me of the 6-7 day battery life of the old Nokia bricks I had almost 20 years ago
