Have you tried to embed the above (cute doggie) pic by clicking on the "image" button (next to the smilie) and paste the pics URL? I just pasted in your link and got this:

Honestly I did from the Photobucket app and it kept changing some of the code and wouldnt post right. Good to know it works from the web version of Photobucket

I don't have 10.1 but I can confirm using the 2x Zoom in the normal camera app does NOT switch the lens. It uses the 28mm lens exclusively. You can test it with ProCam and literally just switch between them if you want.

I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. I've just tested, and obscuring one lens proves the app is indeed switching cameras.

Tested it again.

It switches the camera in Pano, Slo-Mo, and Time-Lapse. It doesn't switch it in Photo, Video, and Square.

This is iOS 10.0.2

EDIT: I actually see what it's doing now. It holds exposure priority over everything. If it feels the light is better with the 28mm it digitally zooms rather than optically.
