Why do people care about and put so much personal energy into Apple's stocking situation - especially those who have no intention of purchasing a phone, and at the extreme even clinging to market manipulation conspiracies? Apple will sell a ton of phones like they have every year.

Just got a email from Target Mobile telling me that my iPhone 7 plus is ready for pickup. People forget about Target and about the Apple products that they sell in the stores. The store also had the new Apple watch series 2 in stock so i think i will pick up my first Apple watch, when i go to pick up my iPhone 7 plus today. Why wait months when you can just go to a retail store and pick it up.

That's a good point and if you or a loved one has the Target card you get (I believe) a 5% discount (or payback) which is not an insignificant amount of change on a new phone.

Zero Jet Black 7+ of any capacity. Matte black is showing moderate availability though. Looks like I'll still be waiting until November for Verizon to deliver my pre-order.

Noticed even for the regular 7 Jet Black is just not available. They better hire another guy to swish the phones around in the finishing liquid. ;-)

Here in the UK its starting to feel like my iPhone 7 Plus (Jet Black, 128GB) will take weeks to arrive, if they can't even roll out properly in the states, what chances do we have?!?! how can be considered anything short of a **** up??

Remember that rotating device Jony Ive showed us in the keynote that is used to sift the Jet Black iphone 7 pluses in a special white sand? I think that might be the only machine they have to make the iPhone 7 JB pluses for the whole world! Lol!

FYI anyone in the US can use the IUP (iPhone upgrade program) reservation online because it's not only for people who uses IUP. Just reserve and when you get there tell them you have a reservation and you buy the phone however you want to.

This happens every year. People complain about not getting their phones. Production catches up. People get their phones. People love their phones.

Well I preordered 6S Plus through my carrier 5 days before release and received it a day before release.

This year when I managed to finally access the website it was already 3-4 weeks estimated delivery.

If you ask me it's much worse this year.

YMMV I suppose, there are as many people saying it's the best rollout they've ever seen. I guess it's luck of the draw.
