How soon after we're able to track is it safe to set it for hold for pickup? I've always had mine held for pickup, but generally haven't gotten the tracking number until a day or two before, once it's already in the US. It does offer me the option to set for hold right now, but IDK if I should wait until it's at least in the US first.

The only options MyUPS shows me is to pickup @ UPS location, deliver to another address, or deliver on another day. Don't see any option (yet) for delivery time/window.

Nah, not early. Still shows scheduled delivery of 9/16. Probably going to be locked in a cage with the others at my local hub until 9/16.

I think that just means that the shipping label has been created for your package and that is most likely why it is in that status. But I guess since it's coming from China and not a warehouse here in the states, maybe it did ship.

Just remember, you won't get them till Friday or whatever day was the official release date. The shipper will hold them as they do each year.

I set mine for pickup at my local facility this morning. I did this last years as well this early. As long as it is showing in their system, you can do it...you don't need to wait for tracking number.

My tracking number is showing but I can't modify delivery, I get this:

You now know it is in ZhengZhou. The UPS Choice will update with a departure time. Go to Flight aware search for a flight to Anchorage that left at the same time. Guess that it could also stop in Incheon. My watch last year went directly Shenzhen to Anchorage You can follow it across the Pacific. Once it is in Anchorage, repeat for next flight to next hub (usually Louisville for us in the eastern half)

Is yours coming from China as well (have to assume so, but I know some aren't). Mines been there since 9:45 PM (which I guess is a couple of hours ago their time), so if that's the case, I may set mine to hold now as well, or I may wait until it's at least in Alaska. I hate waiting on UPS to deliver to me, as it's almost always after 7 at night, and 50% of the time they never knock/ring the doorbell, and I've even had a few instances where they've delivered packages a street over, instead of to my house.
 
I just checked UPS.com. I have a tracking number with a delivery date for September 16th. My phone is currently in China with the first scans today.

It's great that when u change the location the date moves to Monday. Exactly what I didn't want to happen. Guess I'll have to call tomorrow

Just found my tracking number based on my order number minus the last 2 digits! 7+ 128 matte black. Already had it changed to hold at UPS Location since they usually deliver at my house really late.
 
I just found mine through my HOME phone number so if you don't see yours by typing in your cell phone number, type in your order number INCLUDING THE W, but omitting the final two digits.

So if your order is W123456789

Search for W1234567
