iPhone 7 Plus Shipped!

I have a small amount of anxiety that my phone is being shipped to work (I work in a mall) and I was unable to put the name of my store in the info, just the suite number. I asked the UPS guy if they know suite numbers and he said no, but he said they usually go to the information desk and figure it out. Do you think I'll be okay? I told the guy my suite number and he said he'd make a note of it (and asked that the information be repeated as he walked out) so I think I'll be okay, but should I call UPS and see if they can add an addendum to the package with my business name?

Mine doesnt have as many steps in the shipments.

Is that because I'm not logged in to UPS.com?

It's probably cheaper to slap the shipping labels on at Chinese warehouses. They are then palletized and shipped on dedicated airplanes carrying only iPhones. Apple and UPS kind of work together on the first half of the journey.

EDIT: My mobile number isn't a reference number, but my home number is. Must be the number on my Apple account.

Otherwise once it is placed on the plane your order should show shipped with a tracking number.

Works from my business address and home address. Just have to switch the address in the app.

Do you have the premium? It won't allow me to add the business address for search by reference. I know that if I have the tracking number I can add it no matter, was trying to search by reference.

I have the premium now, (they offered if for $10) but I've had the regular service for years prior with both addresses. I have most of my stuff shipped to my business address, but Friday is a short day, so home was my choice. I always get notification of my packages being delivered through UPS.

I'm wondering though if signature will be required. I don't recall prior years, and some years it's been fedex whose delivered my phone.

I am fairly certain signature will be required. I was told by my regular UPS guy that he was instructed to require a signature from all apple deliveries. Even if you sign the pre-release, or the notification slip, I believe UPS states that leaving a package without a signature is at the drivers discretion. (and they won't).
That is why there has been so much confusion over having your shipping changed. I am taking a calculated risk by having it shipped to the office, as no one will be home M-TH for any deliveries.

Okay that makes sense, the discretion of the driver, sometimes they've just rang the doorbell and left the package. My pre release was in effect.

I guess I'll just have it left at the distribution center then, just up the road.
 
Stupid question this might be, but can you do this for carriers too? Like since I ordered a Silver 256GB 7+ through ATT.com, what would I need to put in as reference, I tried the cell number, but it didn't work.

att usally and mostly uses fedex next day airs.
 
Have any phones shipped that were NOT already predicted a Friday 16th delivery? I'm in the 27th delivery bracket and I'd love to see some movement :D
 
they'll hold the phones in... i think it's louisville. At least that's what they did either last year or the year before (i forget which...) after there was a rash of early deliveries i guess they decided to just hold them then ship them out overnight from louisville (or wherever UPS' hub is back there)

my 2 16th delivery phones haven't even shipped yet....
