What sort or irresponsible business owner throws money away on such frivolous expenses every year? Anyone serious about running their business is going to make smart investments in tools that last. And you can definitely get 2-3 years of solid, dependable use out of an iphone. Unless it breaks and needs replacing then you're throwing money your business needs away upgrading every year. Do you see tradespeople buying a new set of tools every year? Taxi companies buying a new fleet of cars? Of course not. Upgrading your iPhone every year is frivolous, and by no means the market apple is going after.

You literally compared spending $100 for an upgrade to that of thousands for new sets of tools and more thousands for a fleet of new cars.

Come on. It's so stupidly inexpensive to upgrade each year to the newest phone that most people don't have a problem doing it, hence the reason Apple sells so many millions of phones every year.

You've got to get better BT. I use mine for music all the time and have no problem.

When you are playing edrums, i dont think there exists a bluetooth with a fast enough response. The slightest bit of latency ruins it. Even bluetooth connected to my mac is annoying when editing.

Apple haven't used images form this campaign for many many years now.

Right, because this is nothing like that iPod campaign ...

Luck is what they will need. Epic marketing failure in the making. My parents and there friends have trouble enough with new software iterations. Many people won't even know there is no headphone jack until they unwrap this thing. Then they will first accept it, until they end up on vacation, a business trip, a plane or in the train without the dongle. And suddenly all that beautiful music, all the movies are kept safely away from them in a stylish box. Big annoyance. In the US this will probably not happen. Apple is so dominant here that accessories are sold at every street corner. But internationally Apple is often chasing the market leaders. Apple accessories there are scarce - especially outside of bigger cities. This has a big potential of a blowback.

Disclaimer: I have owned almost every iPhone since the original iPhone, own an iPad and am on my third Macbook. I wish Apple no harm at all. But when I see the company drive onto the edge of a cliff I will not expect a wonderful takeoff. This can crash and burn badly.

i think Apple will include lightening to audio jack adapter in every stylish box

When I travel I take my anker 26000 mah battery and don't have to plug in for five days. I usually use Siri to control the phone, never used voice for searching even on home computer.

Thanks for sharing your battery strategy. I'll probably do the same. My wife is getting very good battery life from her 7Plus so I'm less anxious about that point. But I will miss the ease of sitting my phone down on a cradle to charge it.

How do you know that? Apple haven't released any sales figures and we are still 2.5 months from the end of the year.
Didn't apple (allegedly) order additional phones? It's true they didn't announce shipments, but I thought the additional order information was interesting, and maybe the iPhone 7 is not the doom and gloom as has been predicted.

That's not really enough to say if he's got it wrong or right. We will need to wait until the end of January until the Q1 results are announced.
