carriers in czech republic are lazy moronic *******s... gid knows when will they support lte watch, maybe watch 4 will be released sooner:)

I've messaged T-Mobile about that and it's already being tested in field, partly because of smartwear so hoping for activation next year with wave 2 countries.

jep, being tested... it may be in that phase year or more.. afaik orange in slovakia is testing VoLTE (which is needed for awatch 3 lte AFAIK) 2 years and providing only for low yield phones (expensive samsungs).. in czech republic, O2 doesnt know if/when they will launch it...

Why would anyone waste money on the 7s with the X around the corner?
becasue he is up to update and does not want to spend sooo many bucks for demo product?

I stand corrected, thank you.

Per Business Insider: "Unlike the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus, the iPhone X will have dual optical image stabilization on both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses on the back, which means photos and videos will be smoother and less blurry."

The telephoto lenses are the one that most need OIS since you use them to take a portrait where you want the image to be as sharp as possibile
Portrait mode in low light will work better on X and that's their key camera feature.
I expected OIS to be added to the 8+ as well, but they put it on X only for two reasons: marketing and cost saving, so they didn't have to redesign the camera module of 8+

u are welcome.. not sure whether there will be any difference in real world
usage

Yeah, I know. I live in the same country as well.

It's quite possible that local Czech carriers will support eSIM when AW4 is released or maybe even later. Actually, till end of this year there is almost no support for AW3 around the world. Just handful carriers are on board.

back to the topic: ip8 or ip8+:)
got 6s plus, bit tired of big form factor but not sure if I can go back to 4.7 display:) and X is not an option...

Not my Nike GPS. Says 5th October.
[doublepost=1505612824][/doublepost]

This is the reason I never bought an Apple Watch but this time I did. Why did you have to remind me.

Umm the Nike watches were not originally set to deliver on the 22nd.

Should sell my Series 1 tonight and will order Series 3 Black Nike without LTE.
It already says October 5 here (in Quebec).

Why isn’t X an option? Sounds like the right fit. I’m in the same boat I don’t like the big phone but like the larger screen X is the perfect middle ground.

Probably very little difference except in high-motion scene captures and even then it may need a side-by-side to spot the quality improvements.

Looks to me like one of the best prepared launches. Seems you are one of those who will complain no matter how things go. Plus there's the fact that many reasonable people will want to wait until they can compare iPhone 8 and iPhone X in a store to make their decision.

Agreed, Apple has this phone "type" nailed when it comes to parts and production. Really interested to see what the sales end up being for the 8. I think it will be pretty darn high, the price point is just such a jump for the X (compared to base model 8+). The 8 really has some pretty cool upgrades - maybe not worthy of a "new" model but more of a 7 S-series upgrade.

I think it is a "dig" at the 8 by referring to it as a "7S"...

I have two lines that I am updating and thought the same exact thing. But, i went with an 8 Plus for one of the lines just as a hedge in case I miss the fingerprint home button. And it's cheaper too.
We'll see how it goes.

Same here. But, to be honest, I am dreading October 27th at 3AM (Eastern). I have a feeling it'll be a cluster**** and Apple's servers (as well as the carriers) are gonna crash and we'll see ship dates slipping almost immediately. The anticipation for this new phone, combined with the very tight supply, is going to leave a lot of people upset.

That the reason I decided to go with the 8 plus (have a 6 plus now). The only thing I want on the X is the "Super Retina Display". But I rather wait till next year model than having to fight for it.

No worries! I already know couple people who always upgrade decided not to bother this year. I'm on the same page and it seems like a lot here in this forum are nothing doing it too. There should be plenty or extra room for you of getting the chance to grab your iPhone X. For the price too it's really not an ideal for other countries unless they're filthy rich, so your chance of getting the iPhone X is higher than iPhone 8. Good luck!

What's considered a waste? Think about your statement for a second. Do you honestly think everybody is interested in the latest technology that iPhone X Offers? The iPhone 8 will be the better selling iPhone between the two, strictly because of affordability and availability. Not everybody wants or needs to have the latest capabilities, especially depending on which model iPhone someone is upgrading from to the iPhone 8.

Apple watch at $600...
While iPhone 8 is just $200 more. Kinda pricey for such small thing.

You can do this silly cost comparison/rationalization "exercise" for everything in existence.

so, business as usual? I always said it'll be next May before you can easily walk into a store and get the X. Despite what the haters say. It would have been the case with the 8, if there was no X.
