Model citizen. I do admire that you even brag about it.
That's not bragging. Some of y'all on this forum are so dumb and blind. It's sad.

Lmao are you serious. How was my post indicative of being a slave to Apple products. I'm using the 8 Plus and RETURNING IT FOR A FULL REFUND when the X releases.
Thanks for helping to keep prices higher and higher.
No, the SS models were there (in the states at least). You had to search for them and they do have 0% financing on them, it that's what you mean by lease. I got a SS SB in that manner using the ATT website. It took me a second to find them, it was not as straight forward as it could have been. But everything worked, albeit slowly.FYI: Seems as though only carriers are allowing pre-orders on the Sports Model only....If you are going to get SS then I would order from Apple....There are no options for leasing the SS model (For purchase only) from what I have seen and researched....
Will be Getting iPhone X. Sad!! we are still more than one month away from pre-order.![]()
I'd wait for next years model hahahaha I love the 4S but the battery is about gone. Plus, I got the 64GB and I am just now filling up most of the storage. I have been debating getting the X and joining everyone in 2018!![]()
actually, that is exactly what you're doing. Apple can't sell your refunded iPhone 8 as a new phone, so it loses money. Lost money that will be compensated by increased prices. Of course just your action won't make a difference, but count in al the people who do that. That's not what I'm doing at all.
Apple supply chain is stong, good job! They have been getting better at order fulfillment each year, I expect iPhone X to be easy to preorder as well. Demand is huge, but Apple has gauged it appropriately.
Is that the Sim-free version? I thought last year they waited awhile before you could buy that.Unlocked iPhone 8+ 256 gb grey delivery 25-oct2 or in store pickup on the 22nd as of 4:09 am
From what I'm hearing demand is easily exceeding expectations, by a lot!!!
And we've still got the main event to come next month.
People complain up a storm when 16GB is an option. Now Apple makes the difference in price between the 64GB and the 256GB the same as the old 64GB and 128GB and people complain. Wow. "We don't want too much space even if it's at the same price of the lesser space we had before!"
Here we are 6 hours after launch and Verizon still has all 8+ configurations available for a 22nd delivery. I've never seen that in an Apple launch before.
But maybe Apple had really low expectations with this launch.

Or maybe, just maybe they learned from past mistakes and upped the production enough. I'm sure they knew the X would sell more, so it was a good idea to delay the release a few weeks. Instead of 3 phones releasing all at once, pace them out a bit. Here we are 6 hours after launch and Verizon still has all 8+ configurations available for a 22nd delivery. It's pretty sad honestly. I'm not a fan of the fragmentation of having 3 new models. I hope they go back to just 2 next year. Not sure how that would work though.
iPhone 8 is just a price mark up iPhone 7S with less feature upgrade in a normal "S" cycle. Most people will just want the iPhone X unless you can't really afford one. The iPhone 8 shipping estimation pretty much confirm that most people would buy iPhone X. During a normal iPhone launch, the shipping estimation will shoot up to 3-4 weeks within minutes, and the iphone reservation on the first day will be all booked within minutes.
The iphone 8 reservation on the first day to pickup last more than an hour in my local store, which never last more than 5 minute in last couple years.
Expect the iphone X will be gone within minutes just like the Jet Black last year.
