I really hope they don't make the status bar black. I love it when it blends with the applications. It even makes the screen looks bigger and colorful!

or let them add status bar settings to Settings to be able to choose how it looks. It would make everyone happy

Or maybe TouchID has nothing to do with applePay because the Awatch can have Apple Pay with an iPhone that lacks touchid already...
Also use the wrong finger on touchid 3 times and guess what you're prompted with? Your passcode..

I never used an Apple Watch but what you say makes sense.

This is so dumb. Who cares about some random graphic designer thoughts on what Apple could do. Unless this is a mock-up based on a leak (like 9to5Mac’s mockups before iOS 7 was announced) who cares?

I'd embrace the notch, but I am expecting a dark mode specific for the OLED iPhone 8 also which should make it all a moot point as it will hopefully blend in with the rest of the UI.

That third image is the best way forward. A phone no longer needs to display the time as the Apple Watch now has that responsibility.
So iPhone 8 owner has to also own an Apple Watch? Yeah that will go over well.

While these concepts look good....I fail to see the point in making a larger screen if a portion of it will constantly have a home button on it. What if you're watching a video and want to go home?

bottom left for me please. For some reason I think the sensors look cool...I probably won't be saying this after a year with the phone, but for now it looks cool to me.

Because of the lack of Touch ID most likely I’ll upgrade to the iPhone 7s

Hmmmm ya depends how well this facial recognition works but ya seems like it would be a bit of a pain to have to have it pointed directly at your face to unlock. That and price especially for us Canadians.

These concepts by random internet people are always the worst. They are a great way to get an idea of what the product will NOT look like.

love the nav at the bottom! Android has had the back button since day 1 and man, I've been jealous
Don't get me wrong, from a visual standpoint it makes perfect sense, and looks amazing. But I just picked up my iPhone 7 to see how the ergonomics would work, and it's kind of awkward. Most people who hold their phone one-handed rest it on their pinky. Well, at least in my case, my pink naturally rests right below where the back button would be, making it weird to tap. Also, if you try to move your pinky to make it easier to touch that part of the screen, the phone feels unstable and top heavy.

Just my two cents tho, I'm sure we'll all get used to it.

Really hope they put the back functions on the bottom of the screen like that. Reaching up or double tapping to bring the display down is super inefficient.

It really has its drawbacks, especially with the Plus phones. I haven't even had my Plus a year (first timer) and I find the navi functions bothersome and super awkward to reach using one hand. Especially things like the music app.
