How about adding Touch ID / Facial Recognition / Passcode to individual apps and for turning the phone off?

Iphone pro perhaps? Well if it get slow with the same rate as the 6+ does with IOS updates (being the first of it's kind) it's a absolute no go for me.
The 6+ is PAINFULLY slow now. Don't understand that the hardware should be so underpowered in that model (fullHD screen)

The iPhone 7 'upgrade' has gotta be the biggest underwhelming change in the the history of the iPhone (outside of S releases).

Glad I stuck with the 6. The 8 looks like it will be revolutionary. Give me wireless charging and bezel free OLED display and I'll be happy.
I had 6 it was too slow, have a 7 and will get an 8. 2 years is too long to wait

Is it possible with the 4.7, 5.5 and 5.8 screen sizes that they are edge to edge (or larger than current models) so that the 4.7 = current SE size, 5.5 = current 7 size and 5.8 = current 7 Plus size?

Hoping/praying this is the case- I love the SE form factor/size and have no clue why anyone would want (or could even use) something larger than the current Plus model (right??)

Hey my old Galaxy Nexus had that...granted it wasn't super reliable. Turned that feature off after the novelty wore off. Much easier to pull my phone out of my pocket while, at the same time, pressing the home button and having TouchID scanning my fingerprint so the screen is unlocked by the time I'm actually looking at it.

there are some applications for this. some parts of an app could have sensitive information but others can be viewed publicly. for example, maybe there's a photo album that you don't want others to see (PORN?) but you don't mind handing someone else the device to look at other photos. Or if someone launches your Safari browser, all private tabs (PORN?) are blurred out until your face is detected or when you return back to non-private mode.
Pr0n? What's this... pr0n you speak of? Asking for friend.

/deletes 5 years of browser history:oops:

OMG! So many emoji!!

On topic: Facial rec as a 2nd or 3rd auth factor isn't a bad idea. It works like a charm on Windows Hello.

Unrelated to topic but I hope Apple never insults customers with the inane "pro" moniker on a phone. Seriously, what would make a phone pro? A free Plantronics headset and a coffee stained tie?

Depending on the field of view of the camera, this could be great for Siri.

I actually use Siri a lot when my phone is sitting on a table or in the car, but so often I get "you'll have to unlock your iphone first". If there was a good way for Siri to know it was me asking the question, it would make that flow a lot smoother.

By the time the iPhone 8 actually comes out it will have been rumored to have so much stuff that there is no way it won't be a letdown.

Are you saying that if Emily Ratajkowsky shows up at your house you will not be happy because you've seen everything already?!
