I get that. Just wasn't sure why you quoted my response to say that.

As for speculation of prices maybe as high as $1800, surely not. I'm sure Apple will want to get as much money as possible out of people, but they have to be careful they don't exclude too many people. I upgrade every year and the cost has never bothered me. But no way I'm willing to pay that much, have to draw the line somewhere.

Of course, it's all just speculation and rumours. The pound being weak is more likely to be the biggest reason behind a price hike.

As I said earlier in the thread, spending $$$ on a phone every year is as good a reason as any other.
