I did; My last iPhones were a pair of 4s. The issue is not what Apple has sold in the past, it's what they're selling now.
Once I jumped to a Sammy S4 around four years ago I knew what I'd been missing. I kept waiting for Apple to catch up, but they STILL haven't (and probably won't).
I just got tired of putting up with Apple not giving me what I want, so I went with the guys that did.
Simple.

Well, I cannot speak for your devices, but I can speak for mine: I've had an S4, a Note3, 2 Note5s, and 2 S7 Edges.
They've all been excellent, and to move to iPhone now would be a HUGE step backward given how I use my device.
iOS is a crippled, locked-down mess. Apple's hardware is even more so. But hey, if you like their very-Apple-single-button-mouse-like "simplicity" then more power to you.
At least iOS is smooth and definitely well integrated with Macs.
I need more than that, so Sammy it is.
