I will buy it anyway,I am totally bored from this 6 series design, and i really need change :).Rumored touch id embedded in the edge to edge OLED display and flushed dual back camera is the most i am excited about this year :D
Where have you seen anything about a flush rear camera?

As always, I'll wait until it is announced before I make a decision. However, I am using a 6 plus so, I'm leaning heavily toward getting a new one.

I am always amazed at the rhetoric that pops up every time Apple gets into a release cycle with a proposed new phone and the amount of people with the current model standing in line with cask and credit cards in hand to purchase the "latest and greatest". If you have a current model 7 or 7+, why do you need a new phone? Just because, or??? I have a iPhone 7 with 128 gb storage and am on the upgrade program. At this point, I don't even see a reason to consider a higher priced phone when mine works fine. Maybe it's just me? At least I won't be in front o of you slowing down the new phone purchase process.

It is just you. Each has to make their own choices. If one has the money and wants to buy, they should buy if the want it. Other are more practical and will never upgrade until their current device dies.

Each need to choose for themselves.

Agreed. I am currently using a 6 plus, so obviously I don't always need the latest and greatest. But if other people do, then that's ok with me.

But finally you will buy it when it is the topic lol
1. No.
2. Maybe if my shares double in price.

I would wait out a new design's first year. I is always problematic with new hardware flaws found after few days/weeks. Buy next year's refined model.

You're excited "about a flushed dual back camera?" Do you have confirmation somehow that it's flushed or sitting evenly with the chassis? I can only imagine the disappointment you will find out if it's protruding out of the chassis, that might take away your excitement.

I'll be buying as many as I can get my hands on to flip to the lemmings paying over sticker. Always make some nice pocket money that way.

Exactly, not everyone is in the same situation.
Each person picks and chooses what works for them and decides.

I don't think most people think of it as 1000 or whatever the cost - they buy over 2 years so Hey is it only $6 more (or whatever) than I am paying now so no big deal. Yes it is strange that we pay more for a phone than a laptop but??

I won't buy this cycle but not because of price. I just want to get at least two good years out of my iPhone 7 investment. I have no doubt this new iPhone pro or whatever they decide to call it will be a grand or more. People will buy it in droves anyway. The good thing is there will be less expensive options for those who will not want to pay that price.

Crazy isn't it? We're walking around with phones that cost upwards of a thousand dollars in our pockets. If we drop it we might be screwed, if we loose it, or it gets stolen we might be screwed. A phone that costs more than most tablets, windows laptops and desktops. Here's a mind boggle for you. If you drive a car, or truck that's over 15 years old and you own a new flagship smartphone, how does it compute, or rationalize to you that your phone holds more monetary value than your vehicle?
Maybe their priorities are different from yours.

I'm sure the carriers will offer incentives that make it priced probably less than a normal iPhone 7. So yeah, I'm in.

At $1000, the monthly payments may start creeping up far enough that it will change the sales numbers. There's only so much people will pay per month, without extending the contract past 24 or 30 months. Yes lots of us on here who are the Apple crazies will run out and get it no matter what, but overall they will have to be aware of the sales numbers of the general public with that type of pricing.

My iPhone 7 Plus 128GB was $869 brand-new. $999 is about $130 more. If you're on a device payment plan, it translates to about $5 more every month. If you've already made the leap to pay the monthly cost for an $869 phone, $999 isn't gonna be that difficult to overcome. The jump is even shorter if you've got a 256gb model.

Androids are getting better and cheaper and I know it's apples and oranges as I have owned both but $999 seems like a Sony PlayStation 3 price mistake. I like my iPhone but there is no way I can justify that just to say there is a piece of fruit on my phone. Public schools all going chrome books as well replacing apple devices this kind of a price jump wouldn't bode well me thinks. But I'm an idiot what do I know?

Gonna wait until after the Keynote to decide if it's worth upgrading to me.

Depends on what matters more to you. I'm cheap when it comes to vehicles, clothes, shoes, etc. so I can afford to indulge my tech, anime and comics addiction.

Gonna stick with my 7, but I don't be upgrading to IOS 11 as every update seems to introduce performance issues on any IPhone that is not the latest thing out.
