Personally, I've reached a point where I actually try to reduce my smartphone use because it just takes away so much of my time. Therefore I don't need a bigger battery and I won't be upgrading to any new iPhone soon, especially not at 1000 bucks.
I liked when iPhones were $200.
At this point where I only have 6 apps from the App Store (and actually use 3) I don't need a super powerful phone; the only thing that would make me upgrade is an amazing camera improvement and international expansion of services such as Apple Pay.
I hear the competition is finally catching up to the A9 (and to the A8 for most of them). Outdated is relative.Gosh if only Apple announced their phones in January then they wouldn't be outdated.![]()
Wouldn't be surprised if the battery is actually a rebadged Samsung with Apple logo on it. Half of the inner parts are Samsung anyway, lol.Bigger battery! Didn't they learn from Samsung?

Battery life is also effected with every new iOS release. I'm sure some software tweaks could improve battery life on older handsets.
But then that won't help the sale of new iPhones.
Not at $1,000 it won't.
