Don’t get me wrong. Slim is sexy and the air is still available in every single configuration at my local store.

I just might have to swap from the pro and join the dark side with a cyclops camera and mono speaker. Then I’ll be like, are you deaf? Who needs two speakers in 2025? Use both of your ears to listen, you daft dummy. Problem solved. How dare you talk about decent sound…don’t you have any empathy for the hearing impaired? And who tf needs 8x zoom?? Are you a lazy Oompa Loompa? Just get your steps in and move 400 ft closer.

But really, I’m on the fence and might have to swap my pro order later today. @C. Robert more pics please.

Exactly, those that can’t hear the single speaker properly are listening to it wrong 🤣

My only gripes with the Air are the mono speakers and the lack of physical sim.

I canceled it lol. I will be picking up the space black tomorrow along with my ultra black titanium, can’t wait!!! I think the reviews convinced me enough and the Air is fine for my use-case especially for someone who always prefer thinner phones.

Great combo!

I don’t find it sharp at all. This is the first iPhone I will be using caseless. I will be purchasing Apple Care. Only thing I’m putting on is a screen protector.
I should definitely give it more time to get used. I bought the bumper for outdoor scenarios but I would also go caseless (it’s been always like that with my last iPhones)

Congratulations! Just received the blue and the cloud white. They're both gorgeous and keepers. My only problem is what color do I keep. I posted earlier I love the white but the blue is fabulous too. Thanks for posting a positive review.
@Jupiter1
that was my dilemma also. the blue or the white.
some people visiting apple stores have reported that the black one shows scuffs or scratches - probably from rough usage typical to display environments.
pls do let us know which one you keep, and why. and what case you are going to use it with (if any case at all).
thanks.

Black 512gb. I love mine so far, coming from a 13 mini. Giving it a run for a bit to see if I can get used to the giant jump in screen size. The thinness definitely makes it easier to use one-handed than even the thicker 6.3" pro's. I can't help but long for a smaller device, even so. Camera is leaps and bounds better than the 13 I'm coming from as well, don't care much about ultrawide and never had telephoto. Back is much more of a fingerprint magnet than I was expecting, not excited to see all the posts about it scratching easily.

Even during setup, heat was negligible.
Did you consider the pro because it was “smaller?”. That’s cool to hear it’s easier to use one handed. I also like small phones and am considering pro but the air is thinner.

I tried both the 15P and 16P when they were released. The size + weight was just too much for my preference. Juggling things to reach the other side of the screen is infinitely easier with the light weight of the Air.

My wife got a 17PM and it is a tank in comparison. She uses the camera system for photography/videography, otherwise she said she'd step down to the Air in a heartbeat.

It’s funny when you watch a review on YouTube and they’re like “it doesn’t do LOG video and the USB exporting speeds are slower”.

Bruh, do you realize what percentage of your audience would ever use those things? Like everyone watching is also a YouTube creator. lol

Loving mine. Speaker is plenty loud for the few times I use it (say, podcasts during a shower). Camera is great for what it has. The design is just so striking … using it reminds me of older devices like the X, the 4, Blackberry 9000, Nokia 8800. It just feels like a premium product. I’ve been running iOS 26 on my 14 Pro for months so there’s nothing particularly compelling about the actual UX, but I just keep wanting to hold it and find stuff to do with it.

I think the transfer and sync process sucks the fun out of new phones. There was always something to rethinking the layout, the apps, the settings… that my device functions just like my 14 Pro did this morning (wallpaper and all) is a little anticlimactic of the total package experience. Probably better for most people though.

Picked up a bumper but don’t like it—think I’ll swap to the Beats case. I don’t want to use a case at all but will need SOMETHING when the little monster wants to watch Disney+ at a restaurant or something.

All in all, I’m thrilled with my choice.
May I respectfully recommend a waterproof bluetooth speaker for your shower? (I too like to listen to podcasts at times when I shower.) I have the one by Anker and it's wonderful. I can't imagine the Air speaker during a shower would make for a pleasant experience.

Sitting here with both the white Air and the new Orange Pro Max, I have two weeks to decide which one to return, but man this is not the easy choice I thought it would be. Which sacrifice will lead me to which direction? Weight vs. Cameras? Don't care about audio, my phone is always on mute and I wear Airpods.

A tank indeed. Go handle the 17 Pro Max and Air back to back. It's rather startling.

Based on your inclusion of that last sentence, I think you know the answer here. :)

I agree with all the positives in this thread, but I'm on the fence about only one thing so far.

I came from an iPhone 15 Pro Max for context. Comparing the display on the Air Vs the PM, the screen on the Air looks nowhere near as black and nowhere near as sharp to me.

It's odd as I thought the screen tech, bar the difference in resolution, was the same on the Air Vs PM.

Has anyone else compared theirs? Do I possibly have a bad display?

Where have you seen information about three screen suppliers? Not doubting you, just curious to know. I would guess it’s Samsung, LG and BOE? I have no idea what screen is in my Air, but I’m very happy with it.
My Cloud White Air has a Samsung display...if you have access to 3uTools it will show what display you have.

This thing is really beautiful, agree with everyone saying you really have to feel it for yourself.

Overall I made the perfect decision for me and look forward to using this phone for the next few years.

Just got back from seeing them all in person. I’m definitely picking up a white air tomorrow and happy I canceled my orange PM. Both are awesome for different reasons but want a different feel for the first time in awhile.
Well you will not be disappointed. It’s absolutely a different vibe and so far has me very excited for phone tech again, and leading into the next year with the rumored foldable. I still have a 17 Pro set up and on standby in case I decide I can’t live without extra lenses and a beefier battery but so far I don’t even want to pick it up haha.

People that don’t upgrade phones every year are used to making feature compromises every time they skip a generation. So the Air is just more of that, except in an exclusive screen size, weight and premium materials.

For people that upgrade every year, this probably isn’t the right choice. It is unfortunate the Pro took an L on premium materials though. Probably why they’re so salty.
