White Air 256GB ordered with 19th september delivery date.

On second thought - caught myself doing an impulse buy, I’ll stick with my 15 Pro for a while longer. :)

Northern Alberta here. Got on to the app at about 6:10AM this morning. Had my preorder ready and proceeded to order iPhone 17 Pro Deep Blue 512gb. Got my confirmation email from Apple by 6:19AM. Delivery date is Est Sept 23.

If this preorder is anything like the pre-order I did for my iPhone 13 Pro (4 years ago) — I suspect to receive my iPhone 17 Pro on September 22.

The Airs are sitting on shelves like bricks lol. They are the only models left with launch day delivery
Huh, I wasn’t able to get mine with launch day delivery even though I ordered at 5:01, it already said 9/25. Maybe because it’s 1TB? I had to do in store pickup to get it launch day

I said I was gonna skip this year, but ended up pre-ordering the Unlocked/Sim Free Cosmic Orange Pro Max 1 TB model, for delivery on Sept. 19th. I got in like 4 minutes after the Apple Store opened.

I was able to do a pick up, so I have 2 phones on preorder, how do I cancel one?
If you ordered them together, your best bet may be to try to buy the one you want to keep again and hope it’s on launch day. If you manage that, cancel the first order. If it’s no longer available on launch day, you’ll probably have to call customer support. Good luck!

Pre-ordered this morning two phone and both received delivery date of 9/25. Just went back in to do the same order (steps) and now they say 9/19 delivery. I'm wondering if we're dealing with a system glitch and it will all switch to a sooner delivery.

Got in @ 0503 PT and was already at 9/25 shipping. In-store avail on 9/19 but when I tried to complete order it kept telling me that was no longer available. Took 5-6 times toggling between shipping and in-store for my selected pickup time to be available and complete. Went from 0800 to 1245, which is fine because I hav zero interest at showing up at 0800 :p.
Pro 256GB Blue. Fingers crossed the “disable PWM” works as advertised so I don’t have to immediate return it like the last time I tried to upgrade from my base 14.

Same. An hour later, the store is advertising my exact phone as "delivers 9/19" to my zip code, despite me getting a 9/25 date when I placed my order at 8:04. I think 9/25 dates will get moved up.

I actually did noticed that too...when It showed 9/25 ships but 9/19 store pickup, when I went to pick the store for pickup at the bottom it said but we can also ship it to you on 9/19...I went with he instore to play it safe because when it showed the final step before order it went back to 9/25 delivery...you might be right might be a glitch

it’s amusing to me, reading so many comments of people complaining. god forbid you don’t get a phone shipped on launch day, like oh no it’s the end of the world for you. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

did the pre-preorder yesterday, got in on the Apple Store app at 8:02EST, got the 256 white Air, and a 9/25 shipping date. 🤷🏼‍♂️ had the same date for my watch (silver 11, GPS) when i preordered it earlier this week and i noticed it updated, yesterday, to a 9/19 shipping date.

calm down y’all. it’s gonna be okay. breathe and go touch grass.

update: got a text from Apple this evening that my 9/25 date got moved up to 9/19 for the phone’s delivery date. 🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏼

Ordered the wrong phone from Apple tied to a carrier number. Does anyone know how long until I can cancel the order? It does not have the option to cancel yet.

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone Air, the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max through the online storefront and the Apple Store app. You will need to refresh the website or the app until the store comes up, and the app is often the quicker way to get a pre-order in.

Pre-orders for the new iPhones are available in more than 50 countries and regions around the world. Those who used Apple's "Get Ready" feature ahead of time should be able to place an order with just a couple of taps.

The iPhone 17 is Apple's most affordable iPhone, and it is priced starting at $799 in the United States. The ultra thin iPhone Air starts at $999, and the Pro models are more expensive. The iPhone 17 Pro now starts at $1,099, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,199. All iPhone 17 models have a minimum of 256GB of storage, but you can upgrade to a higher tier with an additional fee.

The iPhone 17 can be upgraded with 512GB of storage, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air support up to 1TB. The iPhone 17 Pro Max can be purchased with up to 2TB of storage, though it'll cost you $2,000.

All of the iPhone 17 models feature a faster and more efficient A19 or A19 Pro chip, Apple's N1 networking chip, ProMotion display technology, an upgraded 18-megapixel front camera, and a Ceramic Shield 2 display that improves scratch resistance.

The iPhone Air is Apple's new ultra thin and light iPhone, measuring in at 5.6mm thick. It uses a titanium frame that won't bend, but it has the lowest battery life of the lineup and is limited to a single-lens rear camera.

For the iPhone 17 Pro models, Apple designed a new unibody aluminum frame that's more durable and better at heat dissipation. There's a vapor chamber cooling system that improves the efficiency of the A19 Pro chip, and with more aluminum and a Ceramic Shield backing, the devices are better at withstanding damage from drops. All three camera lenses in the Pro models are 48 megapixels, with Apple introducing a new 48-megapixel Telephoto lens that supports up to 8x optical zoom. Battery life is also way up this year, and the Pro Max lasts for up to 39 hours when watching videos.

There have been no rumors of production shortages, but it's always a good idea to order right away because popular models often sell out.

Along with Apple, carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile are accepting pre-orders, and big box retailers like Best Buy and Walmart will also have stock available for those who want to place an order ahead of launch.

Customers who pre-order an iPhone 17, iPhone Air, or iPhone 17 Pro model will begin receiving their new iPhones on Friday, September 19, the official launch day for the iPhone 17 lineup.

All good here in UK. Took 5mins to get in but then all went smoothly. 19th delivery ETA.

1.11pm Ireland. Ordered 17pro blue 512. Delivery 19th.
Was all set on orange and bottled it and went for blue. The -orange- a peel dwindled. Geddit?.
Not thrilled with the colour options. Upgrading from 14pro.

Just got mine from AT&T. Was torn between the orange and deep blue, but decided to go with the deep blue. Says will delivered on release day. Fingers crossed.
I was going for Orange but by the time I got through to ordering at 1:05pm (UK) the orange wasn’t available for the 19th and no in store pickup available either, so i went for the Deep Blue which is available for pick up on 19th!

Secured on my launch day delivery. An iPhone 17 Pro Max 1TB on any carrier, a crossbody strap, and a clear case.

This year's pre-order wasn't so bad, but I believe I've experienced a glitch for pick-up options, and wonder if anyone had this too. I used the Apple Store app to place my pre-order.

I was able to place an order in the first few minutes (around 5:10 PT), but it seems like a glitch that my local Apple Store pick-up became "unavailable" (after two attempts of selecting Friday 9/19 pick-up time slots). So, I had to choose delivery to my home address to secure my 9/19 delivery. A few minutes later, I received an email confirmation of this order.

Then, after about 10 more minutes, I tried placing a new pre-order again, and this time I was able to select a pick-up time on 9/19. (At this point, the delivery time is already slipped to 9/24.) I still prefer store pick-up because I had bad experiences with delivery before. So, I placed the new order and cancelled the previous one. As of 5:43 PT, I finally got the confirmation email. The dates are secured and unchanged. Yay! See you on the launch day at the Apple Store.

P.S. I selected Apple Trade-In for both of these pre-orders. For the first pre-order, I remember selecting my current iPhone from the list of devices I owned. It was from a page of the "preparation of the pre-order" days before (I don't remember if it was from the Apple website or the Apple Store app). This pre-order confirmation in the app shows my current phone's serial number. While trying my second order, I did not see a list of my devices, and I can only select from a list of all iPhone models (I don't know if this is also a glitch; on the other hand, there's no worry about selecting the same device I already set for trade-in). I selected my model, and this time the new pre-order confirmation in the app does not show my phone's serial number. The trade-in value remains unchanged, though (iPhone 15 Pro Max, $520).

Hope my experiences are helpful for your reference.

at this point I want it to stay as 9/25 because I would only do pickup if it’s available earlier

I hope they don’t change mine lol but we’ll see

I ordered them separately. My delivery date was the 25th, and I was playing around and saw I can do a pick-up on the 19th, so I did a second preorder, thinking I can just cancel the 1st preorder.
