Finally got it, whoooo, was a little worried.Yes. It came about 5 minutes after placing the order...at 8:11 US Eastern.
Yep. Drives me crazy. And, really I cannot work from home on 9/25 so... I guess if it doesn't get changed to 9/19 I will have to figure out how I actually get the phone.Yeah it is super interesting that if I go in without a preorder I get a 9/19 delivery date, but since I ordered early this morning and with a preorder I get a later date. 9/25
I am with you. Same thing. I did the pre-qualification so once the store opened I think I hit two buttons and the order was placed by 8:01AM ET. With the 9/25 date. But, for way over an hour the site would still show 9/19 for delivery if I attempted to place a fresh order not pre-qualified.I’m still lost xD How is it possible that as soon as my pre-order link opened, it gave me Sept 25 as the delivery date? I placed the order, and then just two minutes later, I checked as a regular user in the Apple Store — same model, same storage, everything identical — and it was showing the launch date instead.
Do you think it was a glitch? My order now says "processing" and it says "Sept 25."
If it changes, would I see during "processing" or "preparing to ship"?

I really hope you are right (and do feel you should be). I am a little shocked that the only place I am still seeing word of this issue is in Chats on a couple of these Phone Websites and not top level articles. Maybe the authors just don't know what to say about it. APPLE!!!! LOLObviously I don't know anything. But I am absolutely convinced they're going to move up. When I checked an hour after I put my order in, the Store was showing delivery for the exact phone I ordered, to my zip code, by "9/19". But when ordered right after 8am Eastern, I got "9/25." And the same thing for my wife's phone.
If it was just one phone, sure, maybe I was unlucky and got the phone everyone else wanted. But two phones, both ordered by 8:05 Eastern, being pushed back before the store was even online for most people? And then the store still showing both phones as "Delivers to [my zip code]" 9/19" an hour later? And plenty of in-store stock near me? I don't buy it. Especially considering when the phones slip, they generally go to a week-long range, not a specific day.
I think it's an error and will move to 9/19.
Seemingly not hard to fix. Get all orders with ‘x’ time stamp and below and change dang date.I am with you. Same thing. This really seems like something that Apple should fix but no way of knowing if they will or not.
They had an issue with Upgrade Program orders early on in the program and they fixed it before the phones shipped. So... they might or might not but it is not impossible.I'm pretty sure it's not going to change; 25 September remains 25 September. When you click 'Order', it confirms which phone you will get. At that point, it is known where the phone is located or when it will be manufactured and what its delivery path will be. Whatever the reason was why the first pre-order phones took so long to arrive, it still remains and even Apple cannot change it because it would disrupt the entire operational chain. There is no such a think 1st order will be shipped 1st.. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling...
This forum needs a fingers crossed emoji. It has happened on previous years when a new popular color came out, it "sold out" for launch day within minutes. Now I don't believe this is the case and it's likely more of a glitch (or a test from apple LOL). However, most people reported on the forums that their orders had moved up to "launch day" within a few days after order placement. So I think we shouldn't stress too much about it, and hopefully in a few days we will see dates improve.
I had the same thing happen to me. Went to the store on my phone first then came out to try safari on my laptop. Waited around 10 minutes and the laptop came up. Finished ordering and then a few minutes later the phone finally went to the store. When the Store comes available varies wildly. My iPhone store app came up at 5:02. The iPad I was using didn’t come up until I was done with my order on my iPhone, probably five minutes later at least. It still hasn’t come up on my Safari on my desktop.

But, only time will tell. I really don't want to pick mine up in the store. I like to have time at home to do the phone to phone transfer (it just works better with all the work stuff on my personal phone) but I was really really temped to cancel the order and place it again, I just feared cancelling an Upgrade on the iPhone Upgrade Program would create a nightmare attempting to get the next order in quickly. (And, it would have needed to be an in store pickup that I really didn't want anyway.)
Yes, most, but not all. The Pro Max is delayed big time at this point.lol. It’s 9:08 EST and for most all phones it’s showing for delivery 09-19-25. Yet, everyone is getting 09-25 delivery dates.
It isn't the color, it is the Pro Max. I can go on the site right now at 2:33PM on 9/12 and still get 9/19 delivery date for the Orange Pro version of the phone I ordered. The Pro Max model I ordered though is now listed as 10/6 to 10/13 delivery. The one I ordered at 8:04 is set to deliver on 9/25.It has happened on previous years when a new popular color came out, it "sold out" for launch day within minutes. I think my point was more than in the past Apple has improved on original delivery estimatesYes, most, but not all. The Pro Max is delayed big time at this point.

Keep seeing this it’s all the pros 1TB pro blue preordered and just did checkout at 8:05am as soon as I was let in.Yes, most, but not all. The Pro Max is delayed big time at this point.

If i remember correctly, last year i got a date later than the release date, when i pre-ordered. But it still ended up arriving the release date anyway. The delivery date changed the day before. My gut feeling is, some, if not all, people in the 9/25 crowd will get their phone on 9/19. Happens every year. If not, it’s only a phone and I will live if my arrives on 9/25...others will pitch an absolute fit.
