How does what Android phones do excuse Apple's mistakes? So yeah... smells like rationalization.

And it's not one blip, given the fiasco with HealthKit right before 8.0 went live.

Because no news is given to apps everyone will put in their "other" folder.

No regrets. Battery life alone makes this upgrade worth it for me. It suits my needs and usage all around.

I personally could care less what others think about me having a new shiny gadget. Especially since they did not put any money in for it.

Collision is a part of driving no matter how you drive. Putting your phone in your pocket and sitting is a part of using a phone. With that standard, the new iphone scores lower.

No, putting your phone in your pocket and sitting on it is a risk you take. The larger the phone, the greater the risk. I have yet to put any phone I've had over the past 20ish years in my pocket. I also never put digital cameras, my eyeglasses, or anything else breakable there either.

If you got away with it for this long, great. Apparently 9 people had their luck run out.

Oh, and this isn't a phenomenon limited to the iPhone 6, mind you:

I could go on (and on and on and on) but I think the point has been made.

I think people are underestimating the amount of force tight clothes and your own body mass can exert on a flat, rigid object when it is in the way..
