iPhone delivered EMPTY-- no iPhone

Awesome! My mom works for Fedex as a courier and she came home with this package and was like "you should open it" and it's a frickin iPhone!! Said she was given it by her boss as a gift for working iPhone delivery day. Didn't come in a cardboard shipping box though..was just the iPhone...awesome 
Actually she shook it too... she said.. hmm I have been delivering these all day and it feels weird too.
She did it as soon as I did it.
I am on hold with Apple-
So far FedEx from my local station has called and asked me to call both Apple and the Police-- they are contacting internal FedEx security.
That must really suck! The days go so slow when you wait for the new iphone to turn up at your door, only to find out its not in the box. I feel for you man. Hope there is no more cases like this for other people.

This was an excellent idea. Shows who she is (can be a witness) and proves it was empty before it left her hands.
It's pretty hard to miss the front door where I taped it in plain view. Here's the kicker though, the driver put the notice right over top of the signature sheet.
Unfortunately, I had signed for it.
She immediately called her supervisor as soon as we opened it because now it needs to be removed from showing as delivered.
Finally, Apple picked up. I explained it and the guy (very young sounding) has put me on hold. It has been so long, I have to assume he is talking to his supervisor or something.
At this point, FedEx and Apple should work it amongst themselves. Call up my local Apple Store and have one held for me to go pick up tonight.
I have work I need to be doing not sitting on the phone with FedEx and APple and now my police department (FedEx asked me to call them).
I just got 2 Iphones delivered to my office. One of them had the main cardboard box open, but not anything in it was missing or tampered with. Almost as if someone thought about swiping it, but didn't It could have been my mailroom from work or Fed Ex...

This exactly why I reserved one for pick up. That's the kind of luck I have. Hope it all works out bud!
jesh this is all to crazy.. well mine is going to my post office they sign for it from fed-ex but i still have to sign for it that i received it from the post office. I will definitely inspect it before i sign.. maybe even open it
