My 7+ has poor signal quality vs my 6. I wonder if stainless steel will help improve signal strength?
if it would be the same design not at all. ever heard of Faraday cage? thats why they use plastic antenna lines.
but a glass back would help a lot...

Just a hunch, I have a feeling the "polished stainless steel" they're talking about is Liquid Metal $LQMT . Glad I bought some stock in it. It's gone up $0.12 in the last few weeks to $0.27/share.

Apple has a history of putting money into that company. The sim pins they package with the iPhone is made of Liquid Metal. Try bending it...its pretty amazing.

I was thinking if apple does indeed make the OLED a "Pro" or more expensive model whatever you want to call it, I wonder if they will include AirPods and a dock. Like apple includes the dock for the ceramic watch?

Dock? doubt it... you'll get the USB-C to Lightning cable and a USB-C high speed charging brick and you'll like it... Don't be surprised if they stop including any headphones.

If the polished steel frame rumor is true, I predict a lot of people needing to purchasing AC+ or a good case, as that frame will easily dent.
Steel is much stronger than aluminum... being polished though means the frame is going to be scratched to all heck.

I hope apple sticks with 16:9 and avoids taller ratios. Media isn't design for taller displays and looks terrible or it renders with pillar boxes and hard coded letter boxing resulting in both at once! 16:9 is the only sensible option for mobiles and if they go with anything other than that I'll be deeply disappointed.

Apple bought this VR company a couple of years ago.

I wonder if the AR camera functionality is somehow related, or what was the purpose of that purchase?

It makes sense that some of the materials work they did for the Watch would end up in the iPhone some day.

Will the vertical cameras allow you to record in landscape while holding the phone vertically? I mean that would be revolutionary. :D:D

If this is true and they manage to put Touch ID into the display it will be a great phone, I'll definitely pre-order one!

No such thing as a half dimension, the glass is either in 2 dimensions or in 3. Sorry just had to say.

The mockup does look good. If there is an edition model this year, this looks pretty good.
