There is now a "Home Button" option under the General Settings tab in this upcoming firmware. It can be seen in one of the pics.
Me thinks Apple will add the double-press to access iPod controls at all times feature to the iPhone.![]()
If that is turns out to be true I will love Apple forever. Please get this update out before I go to Italy next week!I didnt even think about that. would be wonderful to not have to take the sim out when traveling abroad. would explain why the setting isnt just called "International keyboard" or just "keyboard"
I am sure this has been posted, but people receiving their iPod Touch already have been able to use the WiFi store!
That sucks for us iPhone users!!!
check it out...

I asked over on the iPod Touch forum, and apparently on the Touch the International Keyboard settings is under:I didnt even think about that. would be wonderful to not have to take the sim out when traveling abroad. would explain why the setting isnt just called "International keyboard" or just "keyboard"
One thing I found peculiar is that when Steve said the iPhone was going to get an update for the wifi store, the icon was on the far right of the blank row... Possibly hinting at 3 more apps
In an interview Jobs stated that one of the reasons the iPhone didn't have 3G or GPS chips included in it was due to size. That the chips would require a bigger device. So I doubt there is a 3G chip just sitting inside of it.![]()

I found this odd aswell... It should be on the left of the screen... Three missing apps seems to be the cause for this... At least to me...![]()
The Apple website shows MA712LL as the model number for iPhone.
Isn't yours refurbished ?
4GB would be MA/FA501
"With Touch (or iPhone), you can preview 30 seconds of a song and purchase it on the spot, provided you have Wi-Fi access; iPhone owners cannot get to the store via AT&T's Edge network.
The Wi-Fi store was flawless in tests on the Touch, which Apple says will hit retailers later this week. Wi-Fi downloads, which will require a software update for iPhone owners, will also be available by then."
You can't really rely on the numbers in the screen shot. The ICCID, Serial Numbr, IMEI etc are all obviously editted, so what's to say the graphic designer didn't just change the firmware and other numbers too.
According to USA Today - who reported the iPod Touch would be in stores this week - the update to the iPhone will come out this week too...
